Episode 17: Fortune and Glory (with Ken Provencher)
Episode 16: It...is...later...than...you...think...
Better late than never! The Past and The Pending podcast returns with returning guest star Adam Howard on one of the the most laid back episodes ever recorded for a podcast. I apologize if the rambling and the tangents are not to your liking but this recording is what happens when two grown men record for nearly 2 1/2 hours on a late Sunday night. It is a continuation of the conversation that we had some episodes back with topics that include (but not limited to): how we got into podcasts, catching up with the MCU, watching old James Bond films on Pluto TV, Apocalypse Now Final Cut, our hopes and fears with the upcoming Disney + and HBO Max services and streaming in general, online gaming back then and now, my love for the 2DS (and by association, Animal Crossing and Pokemon), and raising children in the streaming and social media age. All in all, its in good fun and I hope you enjoy!
Episode 15: Heroic Bloodshedding with The Jastrom
Hey folks! The Past and the Pending returns yet again with another guest episode, one that I've dreamt of doing since starting this podcast. This time, Jason Walstrom aka The Jastrom, host/creator of Entertainment Landfill (formerly Nowhere in Mulberry) joins me for nearly 3 hour chat about podcasting, films we've seen from the past and present and our mutual admiration for the filmography of director John Woo. There's anecdotes about the early days of podcasting and the NIM period of Jason's podcast, thoughts on the films Duck You Sucker, The Road Warrior, Prospect and an in-depth discussion of Once Upon A Time in...Hollywood (SPOILER WARNING FROM 1:19 - 1:46; Jason and I spoil the hell out of Tarantino's latest so please, I'm begging you, see the film before you listen to that section; YOU'VE BEEN WARNED). And then the last hour or so is geeking out about our history of watching John Woo's Hong Kong and U.S. films (there is spoiler talk about certain films like The Killer and Bullet In The Head so if you haven't seen them, too bad. You've had plenty of time). This episode is longer than usual episodes but when you're lucky to get The Jastrom on your podcast, you go all out. Enjoy!
Episode 14: Omnitainment!!!
This episode was way WAY overdue but better late than never. The Past and the Pending podcast returns with its first guest episode since December 2015. The guest is none other than Adam Howard with his third appearance. For listeners who are familiar with Nowhere in Mulberry/Entertainment Landfill, this is a walk down memory lane for there are deep cuts to be found. Its a longer episode than usual (but not for a guest show) because Adam and I had some catching up to do. A lot of fond memories regarding podcasting: discovering podcasts, making podcasts with your friends and the struggles to keep making them when life and responsibilities rear their ugly heads. There is some rambling and some extra editing could've been applied but I love the conversation we had so I felt less filters makes this episode special.
Topics include: Field of Dreams, Babe (1995), Spiderman: Far From Home (spoiler free thoughts), Toy Story 4 (SPOILER WARNING), Game of Thrones series finale (SPOILER WARNING) the history of the forgotten (but subject to resurrection) Omnitainment podcast, Adam's history of making rap songs and videos (including some BTS discussion of favorites of mine, like DIG and Black Umbrellas), life as the father of a Fortnite streamer and custom making N64 console molds.

Episode 13: Jupiter and Beyond The Infinite
On this solo episode, I talk for less than 22 minutes about my viewing history of 2001: A Space Odyssey, from the first time I saw it on Cinemax to seeing the 4K Restoration on IMAX. Soundtrack selections from the original motion picture soundtrack of 2001: A Space Odyssey and the final track from Harry Gregson-Williams' score of Kingdom of Heaven (a favorite of mine). Enjoy! There's more to come!
