Episode 23

Episode 23! Little bit delayed, seems to becoming a thing at the moment, we're so busy!  Anyway, we spent a lot of time watching TV together and playing Animal Crossing this week, Jak also started the story mode of Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo Switch. We were surprised with a new series of Magic for Humans, one of our favourite magic shows, we started After Life despite Lisa's strong opinions on Ricky Gervais and we were finally gifted the final series of Schitts Creek, despite it being sad it's the last season, we were happy to have more of the goodness! Plus Jak watches The Last Dance and learns loads about The Chicago Bulls!

Episode 22

Hi everyone, It's episode 22! Apologies for not being around last week, we both got bogged down with work  and then fortunately we had time to see Lisa's family dog Maisy for the first time in 8-9 weeks, but, because she snores a lot, it was hard to record, anyway, we are back with a show choc full of new TV and a Movie!

Episode 21

Hi Everyone it's episode 21! This week Lisa decides to call our fans peas, like peas in a pod, how does everyone feel about that? We also have an open poll for our hopeful upcoming purchase of a Female Cat, however we can't decide on a name, so keep an eye out on our social medias for the polls! 

In TV we cover Japanese based drama Giri / Haji a butterfly effect based story of a Yakuza members actions effecting the lives of people on the other side of the world. Lisa watches Mindy Kaling' latest show Never Have I Ever a coming of age high school teen drama about an Indian girl finding her place on the social spectrum. Jak watches Sci-Fi thriller Devs about a tech company in San Francisco where all isn't what it seems and Lisa finishes reality TV Show 'To Hot to Handle' Netflix answer to Love Island where contestants can't have a physical relationship. 

Finally, Jak watches the documentary Skid Row Marathon, a fantastic film about an LA Judge who helps change the lives of those living on Skid Row by forming a running group and Lisa watches Gravity Falls on Disney+

This Week We Cover

Episode 20

Hi everyone, It's episode 20, hope you're all well and enjoying the nice weather. This week we cover the new series of BBC drama Killing Eve, so spoiler alerts for past series and up to Episode 2 of series 3. Lisa watches Unorthodox a recent Netflix series about a woman who flees an arranged marriage to start a new life abroad. Jak hides behind his t-shirt and finishes series 5 of Better Call Saul and we start the latest Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum fashion series Making the Cut. Finally we get round to watching What We Do In The Shadows a hilarious mockumentary about Vampires living in New Zealand, we then go on to watch the TV Shows Pilot.

Episode 19

Hi everyone, It's episode 19, the suns been out over Easter and that's made everything slightly better. We're back with more TV shows to cover and the odd film, we take a small trip down memory lane as we cover PEN15 a new show on sky comedy about going to school in the early 2000s, Community a show from around 2012 about an eclectic group of people who go to community college, Lisa nearly finishes Veep and we see what Detective Pikachu is all about.

Episode 18

Hi everyone, It's episode 18, it's been another fun week in Lockdown but we're keeping our spirits up and we hope you are as well! This week we experienced Tiger King and oh what an experience it was, we watched half of Stand Up 2 Cancer Bake Off which has been excellent so far, Jak watches Ozark season 3 which is a massive improvement on top of series 2 and Lisa sinks herself into a plethora of new shows. Welcome to Episode 15. We hope everyone is well despite COVID-19, on the bright side, more reason to watch Films & TV right? Right. This week we went to the cinema for the last time for a while, we saw Misbehaviour and The Invisible Man, both we're really good! We finally got round to watching the remake of The Lion King and we binge watched 100 Humans a new science and entertainment show available on Netflix.

We cover : To All The Boys : P.S i Still Love You, the sequel to teen drama To All The Boys I loved Before. We watch Away We Go an absolute favourite of Jak and Lisas starring John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph, we binge watch Intelligence the new series on Sky Comedy with Nick Mohammed and David Schwimmer (Ross From Friends) and Jak gets started on Better Call Saul. Plus a new game guessing wether TV shows exist or not and cool things. Raising awareness for Endometriosis and also the Couch to 5k App.
