From Dating Ninja to Dating Coach - 45 and Single to 45 and Married with Ebony Hill
Who doesn't love a beautiful love story? We know we do and do we EVER have a special treat of a guest for you this week with just that - a beautiful love story.
Our guest shares with us how SO much changed in one single year for her and that anything is possible.
Meet Red Bra Guest: Ebony Hill, Author, Speaker, Dating Coach (yes!!), Podcaster, Minister and Friend. Ebony shares her story of the single life, dating along the way, self love discovery, her celibacy journey and how she went from 45 and single to 45 and married.
Yasssss!!!
For Ebony, she knew she wanted to be in a loving relationship but not just ANY relationship. She wasn't going to settle because of the ticking clock and sure as heck wasn't going to risk going all in on just anyone to say she is "married". She knew and felt her man was out there, she just had to stay committed to putting in the time and work to find him. Which meant a lot of kissing the wrong frogs to find her King along the way, she laughs with us and refers to that time in her life where she was a "dating ninja".
Ebony shares what her deep soul searching, self reflection, getting UNcomfortable with choosing to make minor adjustments and deciding to reach out to a dating coach herself looked like for her. While she didn't know who her man was at the time, she knew that at 40 years old she was feeling a shift and needed to listen inward to do something different.
And it SURE worked.
Into her life walked her King, Kwa. Like, literally their initial meeting turned into a 7 hour conversation which led to another one and so much more from there. We will NOT spoil it all here though - make sure to tap the link our bio to hear all of the lovely details from the radiant Ebony herself!
Ebony's story is full of hope, light, inspiration and yes - even strategy about how to find the right one for you! Today, Ebony is supporting others on their dating journey, has made a successful love match and more than anything is sharing how to find "the one" and to remain determined but not desperate!

While it was an adjustment of course, Laura was grateful to have a home base for a bit and for the time to focus on writing and publishing her second book, Penny Panic A Young Girls Journey with Anxiety.
This book was written from a place of warmth, love and understanding as Laura herself used to have debilitating anxiety /panic attacks that she no longer has. Through her own inner work, therapy and learning experiences from travels over the years have led her to gain the confidence in being authentically her. She wanted to write a relatable and fictional story for teens (and adults) struggling with anxiety that offered a tender story with coping skills. Laura shares with us that she spent the time to do the research to create a book, a tool like no other one she found out there, less intimidating more supportive with a genuine reminder that they are not alone and get through this too, even when it feels absolutely impossible.
Laura shares pieces of her personal story with us and we are literally holding onto every word.
There are so many facets of Laura's life and story that we are celebrating and highlighting - strength, perseverance, grit, discovering the belief in herself...so much more.
This episode is worth every second and packed with inspirational gems from Laura.
If you yourself or you have or know a teen that is struggling with anxiety, Panic Penny could be just the book to add to your / their personal tool box of coping mechanisms.
Laura is on a mission to show people they are stronger than they realize, reminds us all that we are a constant work in progress, labels should not and do not define us, mental health is so important, the power of vulnerability and that there is so much reward right on the other side of fear. Join us, share with a friend who needs Laura's story in their life.
Remember, a story holds so much positivity to help and inspire.

EP 68 There is No Such Thing as Can’t – Only Won’t with Metra Rowe
A natural born leader who has spent most of her life pushing boundaries (especially in gender equality) and defining societal norms of what she was "expected" to look like and behave like, we are so honored to introduce you to Metra Rowe for this week's Women Crush Wednesday!
Metra is a Middle Eastern woman that was born and raised in the small kingdom of Bahrain. Both of her parents are of Middle Eastern decent, but her step mom is British so she was raised bi - cultural.
Metra shares her inspiring story of how she moved to the UK in her early 20s, how her career evolved in her life, the impact one of her amazing mentors (Sally Tanski) has made in her life and how she has always known she was meant to lead, not follow - it just took her a little while to figure out how she was supposed to do just that.
What she did know was that she did NOT have to listen to the naysayers that said she couldn't possibly achieve the same level success as her male counterparts or act / look a certain way in order to be heard. Her response, "watch me!"
Metra whole heartily feels and believes that ANYTHING is possible if you put your mind to it - a lesson she learned from her father who is also her hero. ;-) Metra's father taught her that if she applied herself, nothing would be out of reach. She discovered he was onto something and she just had to focus her efforts.
Which is exactly what she does. Metra zones in on a goal, a desire, a dream and goes after it, feeling the fear when it arises and doing it anyway. Metra has an extensive background in equity, diversity and inclusion initiates within both the workplace and personal development.

EP 67 Dream Big. Aim High. Soar. flyGIRL with Natalie Kelley
It all started with a love for flying as a child when she was bitten by the aviation bug flying aerobatics with her Uncle Robert.
In 1999 Natalie created a bucket list and tucked it away to pull it back out 16 years later. The moment she read it, she knew she wouldn't be tucking it back away anytime soon. We are so excited to introduce and share Natalie Kelley's story with you and highlight this amazing female pilot and mentor on The Red Bra Project!
When Natalie read "Earn a Private Pilot License" on her bucket list she was reminded of a passion she had to follow through on and began to move towards it immediately. Natalie knew that day was THE day. She picked up the phone, called the flight school she wanted to attend, enrolled and hasn't looked back since.
Natalie was at a time in her life when she needed to go after this dream, for herself. Through it all she rediscovered her belief in herself, her self confidence and so much more along the journey. She didn't let fear stop her, she didn't let the fact that she was in her early 40's when she chose to move forward with becoming a pilot, she accepted that not everyone would understand her why, she did it for herself.
Fast forward to today (we chat a lot about the in - between in our convo) and Natalie not only is a pilot, she is on a mission to encourage and inspire women and young girls to open their hearts and minds to their potential. She wants every girl and woman to dream big, aim high and fly! It is her flyGIRL mission. After Natalie earned her pilot’s license, with her own money, Natalie launched flyGIRL and self-funded the first $5,000 flyGIRL Scholarship to finance a portion of the cost to send another woman to pilot training.
Today, flyGIRL has helped dozens of young women explore their potential and change their lives through scholarships, a supportive network, motivational articles and speaking engagements.
Natalie's story is the ultimate reminder that life is full of possibilities for EVERYONE and it's NEVER too late to go after a dream! You will be so happy you hit play! Sit back, relax and get ready to get after your dreams!
Natalie has an awesome podcast called: Cockpits & Cocktails that is a must listen! Her website is packed with awesome resources, tools, inspo and super cute flyGIRL gear in her shop. Give it a look and mention you heard about flyGIRL on The Red Bra Project! ;-) www.flygirlllc.com

EP 55 Marine Corps Veteran, Momma & Skoolie Builder Bringing Art to Veterans – Jessica Rambo
Jessica is a former Marine having served in active duty for 10 years, momma of two awesome kids, artist, business owner and as of most recently can add bus conversion guru to her already admirable list of accomplishments and mountains she has worked to climb & conquer.
Immediately evident from our conversation with Jessica is that she has chosen to be a warrior, even when that meant trying and trying again...she has gained her admirable mental strength through her own life experiences and is courageously sharing her story. She shares about a life changing vehicle accident on her way to Marine Corps Base Quantico in which her recovery challenged her in many, many ways.
Candidly talking about her personal struggles, finding a purpose in civilian life again and working through her issues in a way that was beneficial to her eventually led her to buying a 1997 Bluebird bus. Why not, right?! The Bluebird previously belonged to a high school marching band in New Jersey, but was now The Rambo's family project.
Jessica dove in and converted it from the floorboards up to the ceiling, including all house systems (ie: electrical, water, plumbing, etc) and a (well deserved, in our opinion) 4' tub as well (gotta have a lil' something for herself ;-)!) transforming this ol' band bus into not only a tiny home for her family, but the Painted Buffalo Traveling Studio.
The Painted Buffalo, Jessica and her family now travel the country helping to teach Veterans how to tell their stories through art and grow from their trauma. Episode 56 is packed with energy, inspiration and every bit of motivation you may be needing to conquer your own mountain(s)! Jessica is truly a powerhouse, learning along the way and empowering others.
Sit back, hit play and be inspired. Please share with someone who could use this story in their life.
Thank you for being here, we truly appreciate you!

We are so excited to share Heather's story of strength, hope and light with all of you! Heather is a police and army wife to her amazing husband of 11 years, raising their three adorable kiddos.
To say Heather's family has lived a lot of life in a few years would be just the beginning. Raising a young family while her husband served his military duties and safely returning the couple decided to begin renovating their home and working on their small hobby farm in Washington state on their beautiful riverside property.
Heather openly shares what it was like one night in December when the family went to bed after decorating their Christmas tree to waking up the next day and discovering that they were going to lose their home to the Nisqually river in 2015. In one night, Heather, her husband and their one & three year old daughters were homeless.
The river overflowed her banks, changing her course, undercutting the Carr home causing the county to condemn and demolish their beautiful home to keep it from falling into the river. To hear Heather tell her story from the moment they realized they could be in danger to being told they had to evacuate immediately to packing an Adidas backpack with diapers, onesies and a few personal items is heartbreaking...but it wasn't permanent.
Heather takes us along her journey from the uncertain moments to the tough times, Heather shares some of the most important decisions that her and her husband chose to make. Literally re - building a strong foundation from the the ground up and how following an instinctive nudge to start making soy candles was exactly the healing process her family needed to move forward.
Sweet & Wild Farms was born out of hope to move on and keep growing. It is a tangible way Heather and her family share hope with the world even when it seems like all is lost. It is all about the dream and turned out to be the pathway of love the Carr's traveled to get there.
Tune in with us tonight -- we promise you will find some inspiration in Heather's resilient story of grit, faith and immense gratitude for everyone that helped to lift her & her family up in love & light.
For that, Heather is forever changed and giving back every chance she gets, "My hope for this company is more than to sell candles, it's to be a light in the darkness through love and hope that things will get better," Heather said. We will see you there!
Thank you for being here and sharing / tagging someone who could really use Heather's story in their life right now.
