Chattin' with N. T. Wright about theories of justice
I chatted with one of my favorite authors tonight, so I rode my high straight into recording a podcast about theories of justice, the Atonement, books by an ex-Evangelical pastor turned atheist, and more! I referenced some Greg Boyd videos about the Atonement -- the links are below. They are each quite short. Check out my website at and please rate me in your podcast app of choice if you enjoy! Thanks!

Robert Interviews An Atheist: Ryan Price
In this first edition of RIAA, I have the pleasure of chatting with Ryan Price, a thoughtful skeptic I encountered through comments on my blog posts. We had a substantive, friendly discussion ranging from what we value in the other "side," free will, consciousness, and we even discussed our thoughts on the prominent Christian apologist William Lane Craig. Thanks for chatting, Ryan!  The book I get all excited about during the podcast is Gödel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstadter. I realized that we don't actually say the name of the book during the episode. If you are interested in checking out William Lane Craig, his debates with Christopher Hitchens ( and Bart Ehrman ( are great ones to start with. Ryan is also a musician / soundscape artist. Check out his work here: Note: the audio is a bit uneven at times in this episode; I'll watch out for that in future episodes. You can check out the video of our discussion on my website (link below). Check out my website for posts on belief, doubt, and other philosophical topics at

Epistemology: 5 - From Engineer To Intuitionist
This will probably be the most important episode in my series on epistemology. This is the one where I lay out in depth the core of my own personal epistemology. Also, if you happen to struggle with decision making, this episode might help you with that too (or at least gain some clarity on how you process decisions). Check out my website at

Epistemology: 4 - Logic Always Wins
A further exploration into the idea that there are no true contradictions. If you've ever been frustrated with how religious people tend to embrace the irrational or illogical, you'll sympathize with this episode. Check out my website at

Epistemology: 3 - A baseline epistemology (Part II)
In this episode, I continue building out a baseline epistemology (i.e. one we probably can all agree on) by discussing Critical vs Naive Realism and why I think there are no true contradictions.

Epistemology: 2 - A baseline epistemology (Part I)
In this episode, I give an outline of the entire series on epistemology as well as start building a baseline epistemology we can (probably) all agree on using concepts such as "I think therefore I am," Realism, and Occam's Razor. Check out my website at

Epistemology: 1 - What it is and why it matters
In this episode, I dig into what epistemology is, why it matters, and even tell a joke along the way. Who knew I had such talents. Check out my website at
