This all continues to be ignored by the media and the government. Why?
Mia Hughes is the author of The WPATH Files, a senior fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, director of Genspect Canada, and co-host of the Beyond Gender podcast. I spoke with her about the situation in Canada and the inexcusable failures of Canadian journalists, who continue to provide ideologically biased reporting at the expense of countless minors.

On April 16, the UK Supreme Court handed down a judgement determining that the terms “man," “woman,” and “sex” in the Equality Act 2010 refer to biological sex (not gender identity). After years of fighting for the return of women’s sex-based rights, the group For Women Scotland succeeded in winning their case brought against the Scottish Ministers. Going forward, a man identifying as a “woman” or a “transwoman,” even with a gender recognition certificate (GRC), will not be considered female under UK law, and therefore will not be permitted into women-only spaces such as bathrooms, prisons, change rooms, and shelters.

Two key organizers of the Freedom Convoy, which succeeded in ending the ongoing Covid lockdowns and mandates in 2022, have been found guilty of mischief for their role in the protests.
Ontario Court Justice Heather Perkins-McVey said the evidence shows that Chris Barber and Tamara Lich “encouraged people to join or remain at the protest, despite knowing the adverse effect it was having on downtown residents and businesses.”

In May 2021, the CBC reported that the remains of 215 children had been discovered at the former site of the Kamloops Indian Residential School in British Columbia. More such ‘discoveries’ at other former residential schools followed.
While it is true that terrible things happened at residential schools, the headlines about these supposed “mass graves” were not. No remains had been discovered. There was no excavation.
When MLA Dallas Brodie pointed out that the story was unfounded, BC Conservative Party leader, John Rustad, kicked her out of caucus.

In 2018, Maxime Bernier left the Conservative Party to start the People’s Party of Canada (PPC). The party took on that which almost none other would: the Covid lockdowns and mandates, gender identity ideology, climate change hysteria, DEI, authoritarian hate speech laws, and more.
The PPC more closely resembles the populist, freedom-oriented option many Canadians are desperate for, in a sea of parties that often feel barely different from one another. Challenging the woke agenda, as well as mass immigration, has predictably led the party to be smeared as “racist” and “far right.” The party has even taken on the sacred cow that is the Canadian health care system, suggesting in its platform that Canada adopt a “mixed private-public” system to deal with the untenable wait times that have become the norm.

Nancy Mace goes full TERF

Nancy has been the U.S. representative for South Carolina's 1st congressional district since 2021, was the first woman to graduate from the Corps of Cadets program at The Citadel in 1999, she is a rape survivor and recently began speaking about having to escape domestic violence, forcing her to move four times in the past year.
Last month, Mace went "Full TERF," introducing a resolution to ban males from using women's facilities at the U.S. Capitol. Just two days later, House speaker Mike Johnson announced the order, saying, "All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings – such as restrooms, changing rooms and locker rooms – are reserved for individuals of that biological sex."

Is Barry Neufeld a test subject for Canada's online hate speech tribunals?
Barry Neufeld was a school trustee in Chilliwack, BC from approximately 1993 through till 2022. In 2017, he spoke out against SOGI 123, BC’s “sexual orientation and gender identity curriculum,” on Facebook. This is when his troubles began.
Both the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF) filed complaints against him with the BC Human Rights Tribunal (BCHRT), claiming Neufeld had breached the human rights code and had “created an unsafe work environment” for teachers and students on account of his words.
