Founded in 2022, Christi Wells founded what we now know and love as @AlltheSmallThingsTx, a home assistance company that does the shit that you don’t want too. Many of her clients adore her so much that they have become a part of the family at this point and she is excited for the grow of her company (coming to Houston soon) and I am so excited have had the chance to sit down and chat with her recently.
While we talk a bit about the business side of things, you really get to know where she’s rooted unbelief and the constant reminder from her mother to be a grateful and gracious tumbleweed!

180. Unfuckery Chronicles 2/19: QOTD, laughs and surprises, let’s add more!
179. Unfuckery Chronicles 2/5: Let's talk Scenarios today!
Sometimes you need a UFC to take its time and sometimes your need a UFC to do just what its intended to do, which is give you a swift smooch on the cheek with tough love or even in a spot where you need a little tap on the booty, babes.
If you're anything like me, I need a reminder in regards to 'scenarios' whether its worst case or best case- lets work on not going from 1 to 100 so quickly but hang more in the middle, like a 'most likely' or even 'hey what about this, take a breath and break' scenario... and lets see how it goes.
As always, you're not alone, ilybunches and toodles to see you next time! xo -JLRD
178. Sunday Spill/ January 2024: We are b a c k babes!!!
The Sunday Spill series is b a c k, babes.
We are so happy to be spending some cross country time together here and as you know, we're opinionated, excited and full of encouragement to spend time with your people even if it involves some hot tea in the January world of pop culture.
We chat: Bachelor Nation, Sophie vs Joe, Britney vs. Justin, Award show looks, Gypsy Rose, Tayvis/Traylor, RHSLC & Vanderpump Rules, The Golden Bachelor, and so much more!
Join us on the last Sunday of each month for the fun that we have together, and we can't wait to hear you weigh in as well!
177. January Accomplishments & Challenges: Let's Wrap & Plan for 2024!
A goal I set for myself this year is setting from dreams to reality, babes. One goal I've set for myself each month is to do a 'wrap up' if you will- Accomplishments & Challenges.
I learned pretty recently that progress doesn't always count until there is a path. A path to take what you're say you want and put it into action- whether it be little by little, lunge by lunge or giant leap.
Accomplishments & Challenges really pose a time of self evaluation coupled with excitement to get the job today.
My call to action for ya'll, babes is to write yours down, tell them to the world and I would love to learn what yours are so that we can really really improve ourselves altogether. We've got this babe!
Stay tuned for February- a collection of digital downloads for BabeAF media (also a coming adventure) and so many exciting events / workshops to come! #babeafbookclub is back- If you want the Zoom link for Sunday 2/4 and you've read 'Milk and Honey' by Rupi Kaur, send me a message!
176. Unfuckery Chronicles 1/29: Get Ya Self some COUCH friends!
Friends that you don't have to get out of sweatpants for, friends who can come over with their favorite blanket and snacks. Friends who you can just hunker down, get cozy, have some in house hangs and just enjoy time together.
While you're in the 'era' this year, my advice: pick about 2-4 couch friends (depending on your seating situation of course ;)).
175. How would your 'BEST SELF' feel about Y O U right now?
oftentimes, if you're like me, you do a really shitty job of showing up for yourself and always put others before what your actual needs may be. well, its 2024 and we are stopping that bullshit.
its not selfish, its us, in our 'soft girl' era, just trust me- we are still the badass bitch that we've always been or known that we are, but this time, this year- there is no more of the things that we tell ourselves to hold us back, k?
Here are a few tips to help you get back to that 'best self' and show up accordingly babes.
- no overextension
- stay moderately determined of our goals
- fuck the hustle culture
- stay stead and consistant, whatever that means for you
- get some sleep and drink some damn water
- challenge yourself with something new
- get in a giggle every day
174. Unfuckery Chronicles 1/22:Stop doing the Nothing and Start w Something
The exact reason I started the 'Unfuckery Chronicles' was exactly for an episode just as this one.
I have been sitting on episode ideas for WEEKS and done other things instead. I have purged my closet, cleaned the house, made soup and snacks and honestly, wanted to sit down and do ANYTHING except record a podcast.
Not because I didn't want to show up for y'all but that is EXACTLY what I want to do. Alas, because I didn't just have the energy to sit down and do the work. SO today is the day, we're going to stop doing the 'nothing' and start with 'something' bc we deserve it and I am here to help hold us (you, me, other IRL and internet friends) accountable.
So lets make 2024 the year of FA&FO as well as KA&TN. #iykyk.
172 & 173. Unfuckery Chronicles 1/8: You’re a 10 & 20 microhabits to implement in 2024!
172. The Power of #LetsGetDressed.
171. Unfuckery. Chronicles 11/20: You are Enough
170. Unfuckery Chronicles 10/23: Be Your Own Plot Twist
169. I’m so fucking proud of you
168. Unfuckery Chronicles 9/25: do the small obstacles to reach the great reward
167. Unfuckery Chronicles 9/18: Start saying No to the Shit that you Don't want to do, babes
your mindset minute, is fast, full of hand claps for those of you in the back of the room that constantly fuck with everyone else's well being bc we're not taking it any more. and today, we're saying NO to the shit that we are NOT ok with, ya hear? stop being ok with the shit that you're not ok with, babes. stop fucking yourself. be the utmost most badass version of yourself. you are continually draining yourself your well being, mental health and the way you life your life. get your nostril above water and lets start reprioritize. exit safely, with strategy and support- i've got you. thats no bullshit.
== simple and easy today babes, see ya next time, loveyoubuncheskthxsubscribebyeeeee.

5. Self-care: Confident women prioritize their physical and mental well-being, recognizing that self-care is crucial for sustaining confidence and overall success.
These traits helped in providing valuable insights and inspiration for y’all...
165. Unfuckery Chronicles (UFC165, 9/11): Make Yourself a Priority
Typically the reason I podcast is so that I can share love, knowledge and badass babes to all of you. But most times, I record episodes and topics that I NEED TO HEAR- to hold myself accountable, to go back and listen as a reminder and to help forge a path for my current self to navigate through to where I really want to be in my life.
Most days, doing the things that I am about to share are simple and some days they are the hardest to remind myself to do each and every 24 hours at a time.
MAKING MYSELF A PRIORITY is so challenging, rewarding, exciting and beneficial to not only my physical life but my emotional and mental state as well.
Here are three quickies:
- Let's get dressed, like out of the shorts or pants you've been in for the last couple days or hours, see how that feels
- Get some fresh air, here in Texas I prefer the morning (before 8a) these days > I know who am I?
- Tell yourself that you can and you will navigate away from how this moment feels
These are three simple items that you can do and tell yourself each day to maneuver from the thoughts, feelings, and all that come along to try to fuck you up in each day. I hope they help! Thank you for tuning in today- don't forget to like, share, subscribe and show love on socials (there is an exciting announcement at the end of today's episode, did you catch it?!)
164. Don't Get Married Until You Answer these Questions... Says the Internet
Dating in 2023 but be the most challenging and weird thing ever, says the woman who met her husband through OkCupid (the web version) in 2010. I was browsing some inspiration on the internet this week and I stumbled upon this carousel of images that really caught my eye, in quite an intriguing way.
so here goes, now listen, I am no expert in relationships, dating, marriage and the like- but I do have some things that have worked for me over the last 13 years dating the same man and being married to him for 12. I share some thoughts at the end of the episode based on the questions and I'd love for you to share your thoughts, post them and tag me for some interesting perspectives.
here goes (original post from @viktoria.jagini via @femme_infopreneurs Instagram)
- Am I with a good person?
- What am I doing to hold us back?
- Am I happy in this relationship?
- Are we growing together?
- Is the relationship balanced?
so so happy to be back babes, so so excited to bring you all new things :)
163. Pillar Women- Do you you have them? #womentowatch
There comes a time in life where you stay or become a girl's girl, surrounding yourself when women who bring out the she-wolf in you or they soften that part of you as well. Pillar woman are strong in support, in friendship and in the way that they take care of and nurture your relationships- whether they are from childhood or brand new.
I ask for some characteristics of your pillar women and what they do for your life; to me, THEY:
- Uncover the hidden facets who you are as a person (good, bad, loud, challenging or indifferent) the Acceptance is key.
- Understand and embrace the fierce warrior within you
- Embody your personal opportunity to be as feminine or fierce as you want to be
As alas, WHO are your PW's? What do you help you with/ bring out in you/ surround you with & challenge you to be? Tell me all about them, bring them to brunch, or if you need to borrow mine, our kitchen floor never closes.

161. Unfuckery Chronicles 5/15: a little pivot can go along way…
160. Let's get SERIOUSLY organized, Shall we?
Ya'll I am not one to be ORGANIZED- ask my momma but what I do have/do is have a knack for WANTING to be organized. That counts right? Thanks for @pinterest for having a really comprehensive way of helping us do that #notsponsored. SO do yourselves a favor this week and try to implement one or a couple of these fun tasks to let and allow yourself to love your space a bit more than before. 157. The Mothership; Part One
With Mother's Day quickly approaching, I know that this day can be filled to triumphs, celebrations, constant worry, love, sorrow, remembrance and love. Yep, I said love twice and I have no shame for that. I reached out to a handful of my favorite mothers and asked them to share with me a couple of things.
- Their favorite things about being a mother
- A challenge they are currently facing or have overcome
- Something they have done recently to feel more human (and not just a mother)
I cannot thank you for enough to Karina and Elena for sharing their honesty, love, encouragement and insights in this episode. I am blessed to know you, blessed to love you, blessed to watch you as an incredible mother and excited to continue to watch your littles grow! thanks for allowing me to be the honorary Aunt.
Please join me back next week for Part 2 of The Mothership where I chat with three more of my friends and my hope and intentions in this series to allow you to feel less alone, more encouraged and excited about the adventures you get to take while being a mother. My thoughts and love does go out to those at this time if they've lost a mother, and are waiting to be a mother, my heart love yours, comforts yours and my ears are always open to listen if you need it.

It is a significant observance that aims to raise awareness about infertility, the non-existent support structures, and the challenge those encountering fertility face. Infertility is a common challenge that doesn’t discriminate, affecting anyone regardless of race, religion, sexuality, or economic status. Women should not be left alone in the struggle.
HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL INFERTILITY AWARENESS WEEK
- Rock orange
- Join the awareness walk
- Post on social media -- You can do so by utilizing the N.I.A.W. banner or logo, sharing stories, calling for donations via extended N.I.A.W. links, and using the hashtag #NationalInfertilityAwarenessWeek.
5 FACTS ABOUT INFERTILITY YOU SHOULD KNOW
- Infertility does not discriminate
- The world's most fertile countries
- Infertility affects both sexes equally
- Eight million babies are born via I.V.F.

149. Need a Boost like me? We are in this together!
148. Went on a search to love a new musician and I FOUND Kels! This weeks #womantowatch & listen!
I love how instagram can just bring us all together! I had a pleasure of sitting down with Kels last week for my first interview for #womentowatch Wednesday, lean in and give a listen!
From her website https://www.findingkels.com/about
KELS is the perfect mix of jazz, pop and soul. Her brash vocals and sultry style reflect the old school sound of some of her biggest influences- Ms. Lauryn Hill, Sarah Vaughan, Erykah Badu, Adele, and Amy Winehouse with a profound lyricism to match. Born in Germany to military parents, she moved often as a child. By age 5 she was living in Pittsburgh with her mother and brother. KELS started writing songs at 13 years old. Growing up she was heavily involved in choir, singing at church and in jazz ensembles. Her debut EP, Slow Ryde, released in November 2021 displays her unique vocal style and versatile songwriting. KELS debuted her original music at a series of music festivals in Pittsburgh during the summer of 2021- headlining at The Three Rivers Arts Festival, Millvale Music Festival, Picklesburgh and opened for Kat Wright on her fall tour stop at Thunderbird Music Hall. In early 2022, KELS released a series of live renditions of original music. Most notably, her independent release of “Just Let Me Go (Live at Kingfly Spirits)” gained over half a million views on TikTok and has been streamed over a quarter of a million times across all listening platforms. Her newest release, "Be Fine." was featured in Earmilk and Newsweek as well as on a billboard in downtown Atlanta. KELS has been based in Atlanta for one year, and recently held her first headlining show at Smith's Olde Bar. The show sold out before doors opened. KELS is currently touring the United States independently.
If you're available and in Austin this week (since I'll be out of town) please go see her and support her on tour this year!

147. Book Nerds Unite, here are 9 Books you should read before the movies arrive later this year! #thanksenews
Give yourself the time to lean back in to things you may love... its amazing what you can accomplish when you see the characters you read being brought to life.
I appreciate the cinematography of it all and to see who the director choose for the real life portrayals.
You guys know I am a #booknerd, with the launch of a failed attempt at a book club for the #babeafpod, so here I am getting some help from Tierney Bricker from @ENews for bringing some opportunities to each of us to may be read before we watch.
There will be the carousel of the book titles and go run and read your little heart out!
Without further adieu, here are your new TV Obsessions:
Daisy Jones & The Six, Kay Scarpetta, White House Plumbers, Love and Death, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, American Born Chinese, The Last Thing He Told Me, The Power & Three Women
Today's Resources:
146. Justina, Justina, the women who said SO MUCH without uttering a word! The new star of Superbowl 2023, is our #womentowatch this Wednesday!
I love it when a new artist emerges when you tune in to view Rihanna after many years with all her hits and discovering the coolest, most passionate girl in Justina Miles. What a freaking way to burst onto a large stage like online through Tik Tok and what better place than State Farm Stadium.
I really just adore talented people and what is so fun to find out is that she's normal like us! I cannot wait to see her to continuing soar and reach those big audacious goals!
Thank you for the 'CNBC Make it' article and CBS Mornings (with Gayle) interview in order to help us all fall in love with Justina and her badassery!

144. Miss Resolution? We don't know HER!
The promises you make to yourself in the new year may not always be the most consistently obtainable. I like to think of a 're-solution' for things you're wanting to improve on- take what you're already doing and improve a skill, frequency or helpful task to see how that goes. Or say 'fuck the resolution, idk her' and try smaller accomplished challenges throughout the month ESPECIALLY if they are uncomfortably fearful.
I have two quotes that have been hanging with me this week (thanks for my virtual instructors at Hotworx & my iFit app):
1. 'its just a slight incline, we'll get over it'
2. 'if you wait for the perfect conditions, you'll never get anything done'
Whether these help you in regards to a new household routine, workout, or starting something that you've been thinking about forever (ya know that scary thing that brings you THE MOST JOY!?!?!), S T A R T it. Do the things. You're here to do magnificent things, gain more connections, love yourself for your accomplishments AND failures and really really lean in to UNFUCKING yourself. & luckily for us, 2023 is the time and you are the vessel. let's go babes.
Thank you for listening to today's episode, please be sure to share on socials (@thebabeafpod) if something resonated with you or if you know some of your friends needs to hear that I've mentioned for encouragement in today's episodes. I'll see ya back next Friday!

You truly make this floating rock a better place and I cannot wait to continue to find inspiration in your words, your wisdom and your way of including others.
