In this episode of The Beeswax, the boys sit down with Scott McDowell, the engineer who runs Studio C at San Francisco’s Hyde Street Studios. Scott, who ran the Brokedown sessions, shares his stories of working with the Drops, and just how many weird sounds got mixed into what may be the quintessential Honeydrops anthem.

On this very special episode, The Beeswax welcomes The Honeydrops' sultan of sax himself, Mr. Johnny Bones, onto the show. Today the boys are talking about Those days, a single off The California Honeydrops' 2018 album, Call It Home. With Johnny as the special guest, this rather involved podcast explores the rather involved process of writing and arranging what just may be the band's most ambitious piece to date.

On The Beeswax this week, the boys discuss the story behind the making of the band's most popular song (at least, according to Spotify's numbers).  This episode charts the many iterations that have made up the song's evolution, as well as a special Lech confession about which version is his favorite.
