Tonight we've got Rick, Corrina, Tony, Katie and Alexis all on to give our final thoughts on this season, discuss the ending to the final, debate what we liked and didn't like and of course, talk about what we'd like to see next. We had a lot of great discussions and debates on this episode; we hope you all enjoy it! To kick off this episode we discuss what's the difference between Emanuel's win and Turbo's win, what does the "old Challenge" mean, why is this season's payout so low and should eliminations be mandatory every single season? We also discuss the different stages of the final including our predictions for if Nurys would have chosen the Chaos mace, whether we'd pick the blanket, pillow or chair, what our game ending foods would be, how we felt about TJ coaching players through the final, debates on finalists working together to help each other on various checkpoints and... does anyone actually care about seeing cameras/crew/shadows in the shots? #156 Challengers Unplugged: Beyond The Edit with Xavier Prather
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challengers Unplugged where we take you beyond the edit with some of your favorite reality stars. For this episode we are joined by Big Brother 23 winner, co-creator of The Cookout, contestant on The Challenge USA 1 and overall awesome human being, Xavier Prather.
Fair warning - We recorded this episode in September of 2023. We had to hold the episode for some time due to things that Xavier would potentially be working on however things just kept getting pushed back so we decided to release it. When recording this episode, we had very bad connection and therefore we are unable to process video with this episode. We hope you all understand.
We kick off the episode by talking to Xavier about getting older while remaining athletic, how his recent injuries were healing up and did he always want to play basketball? He leads us through the story of injuring his ACL and getting surgery to repair it, how he became a lawyer, why he decided to go on reality TV and what was it like getting out of work for 3 months as a lawyer? Then we break into his time on Big Brother including whether or not The Cookout was a preconceived idea before going into the house, how he felt about the team aspect on that season, what it was like voting off Alyssa, why he decided to get Tiffany and Kyland out immediately and which Big Brother players does Xavier think could make the jump to The Challenge? Next we break into his current standings with Kyland, his time featuring on The Bold and The Beautiful, what it was like being part of history on Big Brother, why he chose to go onto The Challenge, how he felt about so many members of BB23 being cast on the same season of The Challenge, Alyssa taking revenge shots at him on The Challenge USA 1 and where does he sit in his relationships with other cast members from BB23?
Next we break into his time ending on The Challenge USA so quickly including whether or not he regrets breaking the glass during his elimination that sent him home, what the most frustrating daily challenge was, whether he'd ever even consider coming back on the show or on the flagship, how he felt about the partnered eliminations, and does he watch any reality TV now? #150 The Challenge 39 EP13 Roundtable Recap: El Saboteur... Did Jay Just Have A Micheltdown?
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony, Katie and Alexis! This week we are here to break down The Challenge 39 Battle for a New Champion EP13 "El Saboteur" and boy did we have fun with this one! We kick off with a 30K foot view of the episode including Corrina's confusion and then moment of clarity on the episode title, Brad's jetlag and what is with the yellow shoes? Are they crocs or what?! We also discuss Olivia talking to everyone about her issue with Horacio except Horacio, Nurys telling Horacio he has to start making friends and is Kyland becoming a bigger target than Horacio? Also, did Faysal hold back because it was Josh or did he underestimate Josh's ability in the hall? Would we like to see Cassidy return on another season? We kick off the episode by discussing the changes we had to make to continue on with our journey towards being a full video podcast while also discussing our overall thoughts on episode 9 as well as when the last time we saw a Survivor go home on any version of The Challenge (0:00 - 6:40). Then we break into the episode and discuss why this episode title sounds so familiar, the horrendous foreshadowing of this episode, how shocked we were to see Chris is on the cast, the wild fact that Michaela confronts Chris about his shady alliances right in the middle of the house, and what we think Chris should have done when talking to Michaela. We also discuss what it entails to be in an alliance/have an agreement with someone in the house, whether or not Chris is being treated a little unfairly and why is Fessy suddenly so protective over his Big Brother allies? Also, a breakdown of the daily challenge, our thoughts on cheating/sharing in dailies, how CBS is upgrading The Challenge to be more fair between competitors of different sizes and genders, who we would have liked to see make it through to round two of the daily, how production always does themselves dirty and what we want to see from them to save this season. We also discuss why we were shocked at round 2 of the daily challenge, the unavoidable injuries sustained, why Michele continues to disappoint us, who we were most shocked to see struggle on this daily and Fessy's incredible strategy leading him to his first daily win of the season (6:40 - 36:16). Then we break into our overall feelings on the season format, debate The Hopper VS Skulls and discuss the entertainment level of this season (0:00 - 17:10). In the first part of the recap, we discuss whether we like teams or individual more, how Amazing Race is always done dirty, Big Brother numbers dwindling and why we love The Survivor girls. Then we begin breaking down the Bananas and Michaela agreement, the different strategies for the daily challenge, whether or not it would have been better to work as a team or individuals for the daily and even point out that this is the same cave some of these Challengers have already competed in! We also discuss post production issues we are having along with our thoughts on this old version of Tori that seems to be resurfacing on this episode (17:10 - 1:11:55). After the break, we dive into the Survivor and Challenge Veteran alliance, who we'd like to see go over to the flagship, who we are missing from the cast this season, our evidence that taking a break is a positive for these Challengers, and the dangers VS benefits of burning votes, especially in this type of format. Next we break down Tori and Bananas nominations, why we're upset Tori and Sebastian got to stay behind from the club, why club scenes are so important, Alyssa Snider targeting Tori's boo, what we think would have happened had Alyssa succeeded in getting Sebastian voted in, whether or not production actually listens to fan's gripes about the show, how in the world Bananas and Tori had completely matching outfits for the elimination and the different strategies used for this elimination by Tyler and Monte. We close out by discussing TJ's varying goodbyes and what they mean, whether or not we think this season is set up for Faysal to win, TJ's "get ready" comment at the end of the episode, MVP's for the episode and our final picks for this season (1:11:55 - 2:42:00). We also discuss Wes calling home, the trivia daily challenge plus what we didn't really enjoy about it. Next we break into Wes's political campaign, Tori and Bananas conceding to the rookies on their team during nominations, Cassidy telling Wes he needs a taste of his own medicine, Wes breaking down with Bananas and Dusty at his side and why we think Wes is so blind to what's actually happening politically in the house. This week we are doing a double recap for episodes 2 and 3 of The Challenge USA season 2 and we have a very special guest! Returning for his second time on our show, Talik Monroe from Mental Health Check-in podcast is with us and we're ready to discuss the good, the bad, the ugly and the funny of this week's double episode run of The Challenge USA 2. We kick off by skipping our normal BS intro and dive right into recapping episode 2 "Blurred Battle Lines. We discuss our feelings on these double episode, the defect twist for the winner of the elim, Amanda's insanely fake drama outbursts, and you even get to hear Corrina be so wrong yet so confident it makes you wonder if maybe she really is right. We also discuss what we imagine training would be like for Michele and Ameerah's elimination round, what we think about Jonna's game style switch up plus what her biggest mistake was, the development of the Secret Garden alliance and how we feel about the rookies running the vets out of this game. Last we breakdown the daily, Tori buttering up Amanda, what Rick is missing most from this season, Desi standing her ground against one of the most decorated and experienced veterans of the game, Tiffany dropping a burn vote to save her relationship with Jonna, full contact Plinko elimination and what we think would have happened if Tori had defected.... to Amanda's spot (0:00 - 1:03:06). For episode 3 we kick off with some better episode titles that we feel would have suited the episode better than "Civil War" plus we give our thoughts on some of the random allegiances that are occurring and we discuss how much our views of Paulie Calafiore have changed with this season. Then we break down the daily (per usual) and discuss where red messed up, why blue's strategy was the most effective, Michele cracking under pressure while Paulie leads the red team, Amanda riding the backs of people far superior to her (per usual) and why in the heck can't team Green figure out how to distribute their weight to properly capsize this boat?! Last we dive into Alyssa Lopez's incredible strategy to take control of Cory's vote, run the nominations for team Blue to ensure vets continue to get put in and completely decimating every fan out there with her comments to Tori Deal. Finally, we break down Johnny Banana's toddler temper tantrum, Amanda's big mistake, Paulie getting called into an elimination against Bananas that is eerily similar to the last elimination they did against each other plus what we thought of Paulie's exit, our predictions for whether or not Bananas will defect on the next episode and of course we give our "Line of the Night", "Best Confessional-ist" and "MVP"s. #127 Trash Talk Roundtable_The Challenge USA2 EP1: The Riskiest Season Yet...But Rookies Still Won't Vote For Vets?
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Trash Talk Roundtable with your hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony and Cory! This week, The Challenge USA season 2 premiered so we are BACK on our normal grind recapping episodes. We kick off the episode catching up a little bit but mainly talking about our overarching thoughts on the premier episode and the format for the game (0:00 - 7:50). Then we break into the recap by discussing our thoughts on the intro including how we feel about having fellow fans compete on the show, Paulie's return (and intriguing outfit choices), foreshadowing of the episode, and what was going on with those voiceovers in the preview for the season?! We also discuss our thoughts on the Hopper, how the team captains were chosen, draft order and what we think the real reason that Josh didn't draft Bananas was. Next we break down the daily including Ameerah not helping her team carry the statue, the cart crash where we almost got a squished Banana and even team Blue almost dropping their statue on TJ's head (7:50 - 47:50). Lastly we deep dive into the nomination process, the Blue and Red team alliance, Jonna changing up her game style from All Stars and who we really blame for the same thing happening over and over again every season. We wrap it up by discussing what we loved most about this episode, where we think they went wrong with the cliffhanger, what our "Line of the Night" was and we even created a new award called "Best Confessional-ist Giver" and of course we award that as well amongst a bunch of other predictions for how they might add a twist later on in the game! Overall we enjoyed this premier episode and we enjoyed being back in action recapping together and we hope you all enjoy it too.

Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challenge Trash Talk Roundtable with your hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony, Josh and Cory! That's right, we have a full house on this one! Fair warning: We recorded this episode approximately 6 weeks ago. Since then one of the girls we talked about on this episode made some choices that have been very controversial amongst the fanbase so to avoid becoming involved in something we have nothing to do with, we have chosen to omit that person's name from this podcast. Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challengers Unplugged where your hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony and Josh take you beyond the edit with some of your favorite Challengers and reality stars. This week we have a very special guest joining us all the way from Australia, Troy Cullen! Troy was such a joy to have on and learn more about his life and his approach to these games. We start out with the basics like where he was born and raised, what he wanted to be when he was younger, his passions as a child, history as a reality TV fan for shows like Ninja Warrior and The Challenge as well as how he got on Ninja Warrior. We dive deep into his two appearances on Ninja Warrior including the alliances he had, the bet he made for his second appearance and what he learned about himself overall. Troy shares his experience of crossing over onto The Challenge Australia including some behind the scenes info on the alliance breakdown, what really went down with him, Kiki and Emily, BBQ fight night, the infamous pole wrestle moving straight into the Australian final and what he did with his Australian winnings! Then we break into World Championship and discuss his time with Amber Borzatra, being the only one to know she was pregnant and having to keep it a secret for months, what he thinks about the Fandom's opinion on Kaycee's personality, what he would have changed about his game, which partners he wanted the most, who he would pick if he could go back and do it again, his Hall Brawl with Yes and then running the final with Kaycee. Troy shares so much behind the scenes moments and information including what was really going on with Kaycee during the World Championship final and a few unaired moments including a steamy hookup in the back of the bus which caused a GoPro to be put on all future bus rides plus so much more! Troy truly shared so much of his life, thoughts and opinions with us and we couldn't be more grateful to have had this chance to get to know Troy better. Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challenges Unplugged: Beyond The Edit where your hosts Rick, Corrina and Tony take you beyond the edit with some of your favorite (and least favorite) Challengers from MTV's The Challenge to get their side of the story. This week we have a very special guest returning for her second round with us, Jodi Weatherton. We start out by catching up together, venting about the downfall of internet and getting hyped up for Jodi PLUS she joins us a little early and we have a hilarious encounter trying to get everyone set up right (0:00 - 11:15). Then, we start breaking down MTV's The Challenge World Championship with Jodi including whether or not she knew the theme of the season, how her husband reacted to her getting the casting call, which MVP she would have picked had it been her decision, the real reason Tristan came in last on the qualifier and the current status of her and Benja's relationship. She talks to us about her approach for the two to three day period where they got to know each other before choosing partners, her personal reaction to Benja picking her (as well as TJ's reaction), who the most protected teams were on the season, which Challenger was playing the most hypocritical game, different voting strategies at the nomination table and how the her last elimination with Benja went completely wrong. We also talk to Jodi about how the language barrier effected her partnership, play style preferences, the strange reasoning behind Yes voting Jodi/Benja in after the first daily, her alliance with Jonna, Jodi's special barometer she used against Yes (BTS), which new friends were the most unexpected, how she recharges in the Challenge house and how she felt they got so screwed over in the Trivia challenge. Finally, she talks about the one thing she would change about her game, the crazy story of her trying to call her son for his birthday after being eliminated, her relationship with Theo, Kellyanne trying to get Jodi to vote with Bananas, seeing Wes after 17 years, which Challenger she'd love to play with again, ranking the GOATS that appeared on World Championship with her and so much more! Jodi was such an incredible guest with so much to say and she didn't hold back AT ALL! We hope you all enjoy this episode and all the piping hot tea Jodi spills just as much as we loved it!

#120 Challengers Unplugged: Beyond The Edit with Nelson Thomas
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challengers Unplugged: Beyond The Edit. Your hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony and Josh are joined this week by a very special guest and someone we have been dying to talk to - Nelson Thomas! We start out with a very short intro because Nelly is PROMPT (0:00 - 3:30). When Nelson joins us we start out by covering his early life such as where he was born/raised, what his childhood was like, what kinds of athletics he was involved with as a child, his struggles as a young kid in LA, moving to Texas, graduating high school and what his first reality show truly was! We cover everything from his AYTO audition to his history as a Challenge fan and how he found himself on this wild show we all love so much. We get Nelson's thoughts on things like the audience helping Challengers in an elimination, what it's like to try and start a career after being on TV, his favorite country he's been to, TMZ running the false story about him, the evolution of his and Cory Wharton's friendship and the start of TYB. Nelson walks us through living in the shelter on Invasions, losing the final by 2 minutes and 22 seconds, why his rivalries tend to end so quickly, what really happened with Fessy, how things went down with Cory and Shane on Invasions and how he feels finals have changed over the years. We also cover some beyond The Challenge moments such as him volunteering to go into elimination to save Cory on Total Madness, his moment with TJ Lavin in the Spies Lies and Allies final and how he feels about the major expansion of The Challenge. Nelson talks to us about what a rookie is on The Challenge, how he felt about Amber Borzotra's status in the game, why he chose Nurys as his ROD partner, how him and Ashley Mitchell ended up as a kind-of-sort-of thing on Spies Lies and Allies and even shares what was really going on during World Championship and how he felt about being called to be a Legend. Nelson also discusses random topics with us such as reuniting with Kailah after their previous encounter, "Nelsonisms", how social media ruins lives and of course we discuss his recovery from his recent car accident. Nelson shares so much of his story with us and allowed himself to be open and vulnerable with him. We could never properly thank him for that.

#119 Trash Talk Roundtable_The Long Awaited Challenge Fandom Podcast Mount Rushmore... Spoiler Dunbar Isn't On It
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challenge Trash Talk Roundtable with your hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony, Josh and Cory! Yup, that's right we've got a full house tonight and it was for a very special reason! We all got together to finalize an official Challenge Fandom Podcast Mount Rushmore list for men and women! We kick off the episode by catching up as Rick tells us his heroic story. Then we break into what our plans are for formatting this episode, how we are missing out on Hogwarts Legacy and whether or not we'd ever pay for our IG to be verified (0:00 - 16:35). Then we break into the women's Mount Rushmore first. We decided to present a list of 12 names and then debate them down until we have a final 4 at which point we will number them and finalize our team's Mount Rushmore. For the women we discuss the following people: Susie Meister, Emily Schromm, Jodi Weatherton, Jonna Mannion, Tori Deal, Paula Meronek, Veronica Portillo, Ashley Mitchell, Sarah Rice, Evelyn Smith, Laurel Stucky and Cara Maria Sorbello (16:35 - 1:46:00). Finally we break into the Men's Mount Rushmore which seemed to be much easier to agree on but still provided a lot of interesting debates and is sure to upset some of the fans (sorry). Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challengers Unplugged where your hosts Rick, Corrina and Tony take you beyond the edit with a Challenger from MTV's The Challenge. This week we are joined by Ben Driebergen from Survivor 35, Survivor 40, The Challenge USA and Challenge World Championship all airing on CBS and Paramount Plus. We start off by catching up with Ben about "Benzo", Cinco dancing to W.A.P., building choppers in Reno and Marijuana legalization plus it's benefits (0:00 - 14:10). We then jump into Ben's early life with what it was like growing up in Boise, his father coming out as gay man plus the evolution of their relationship to get to where they are now, plus what his dreams were as a kid and what made him want to join the military. Next, Ben breaks down some of his active military training and active duty stories including his very first fire fight and a time where he was put in a position to make a decision on a life he knew nothing about. We also talk about how he met his wife, his history as a reality TV fan, other shows he applied to be on and finally his breakthrough into Survivor. Our co-host Tony takes us on a journey with Ben through both of his Survivor seasons including his surprising win on Heroes VS Healers VS Hustlers and then returning for one of the most anticipated themed seasons of Survivor - Winners At War. Ben gives us details on the alliance workings on his first season and going to fire that ultimately led to his win. He also goes into depth on what happened on Winners At War between him and Sarah and how that effected his game moving forward on The Challenge USA and The Challenge World Championship (14:10 - 1:33:00). Ben talks about why he thinks it's important to make friends in The Challenge house, the difference between a Survivor social game and a Challenge social game plus what his top partner picks were on World Championship, how The Misfits alliance came to be, what happened with "Survivor Strong" on Challenge USA and World Championship, getting another physical DQ on the show, why he felt Sarah was disingenuous on World Championship and finally we finish it off with some MT Rushmore lists as well as some Survivors Ben would like to see do The Challenge and vice versa.

#117 Challengers Unplugged: Beyond The Edit with Danny McCray
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challengers Unplugged: Beyond The Edit. This week your hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony and Josh come together and sit down with former Dallas Cowboy's player and reigning Challenge USA Champion Danny McCray to break down the entire season of The Challenge World Championship. We kick off the episode by discussion why we are so excited to talk to Danny, some burning questions we have and some things we heard on other interviews/Instagram story AMAs (0:00 - 14:16). Then, we break into the season with Danny by first going over what the MVP's originally thought when the legends entered the game, what the conversations on the first night were like, who Danny's top 3 girls were (and why) and the highly controversial Gates of Hell daily. We also break down Danny's relationship with Jordan and Tori, how the relationships were misrepresented in the edit, and the truth behind Kellyanne's master move. Danny also breaks down how the alliances fell through the season including the White Board Alliance, why/when he decided to stop targeting Jordan, what really went down with Ben Driebergen, a suspected twist that didn't end up happening but caused a lot of issues amongst partners, whether or not Danny would have ever thrown in Sarah/Theo or Emily/Yes and why he wanted Tori to pick a number one SO bad. We also have Danny break down the nomination process and whether or not he was ever truly worried about Sarah putting him in (14:16 - 1:31:00). Lastly, we finish up the Unplugged with Danny's thoughts on the final elimination, which three teams Danny truly wanted in the final, how much weight he lost throughout the season and a beautiful section of praise for Jordan as a person and competitor. Danny then proceeds to break down the entire final from start to finish including points of the final the fans didn't even get to see, Danny/Tori's biggest day one mistake, the truth behind the Insomnia overnight Challenge, Danny's biggest mistake from the overnight portion, and finally, his frustrations with Tori's decisions during the final. We close out the episode by discussion various things such as Danny's thoughts on Troy, the truth behind Banatman's cape in the club outfit, who has the bigger personality out of Wes and Tyson, changes to Danny's MT Rushmore, who from Survivor he would love to see on a Battle of the Shows format, thoughts on Horacio and his Balls In elimination against Jordan on season 38 and finally, Danny gives us a pep talk about our attack on Sarah Lacina this season and puts us in our place (as needed) (1:31:00 - END)! This is by far the most in-depth Unplugged session we have done after a season and we truly hope that between us and Danny, your questions and concerns about the season are put to rest.

#116 Trash Talk Roundtable_Challenge World Championship EP12: World Domination... We Were This Close To Greatness!
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challenge Trash Talk Roundtable with your hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony and Josh! This week we kept it OG to close out this season of The Challenge World Championship. We kick off with Rick giving us some voice acting while we talk about Challengers we love now but it didn't start out that way. Then, Rick and Corrina tell a story about Rick's riskiest moment before breaking into things we've seen online about the Fandom's reaction to the final (0:00 - 14:16). Next, we break into The Fear Express and I guess, sleeping? Also, a missing waterfall climb along with multiple missing puzzles? They really didn't want us to see this whole final did they?! I digress. We break down Loops of Hell challenge including Theo's injury, the highly debated code breaker puzzle, which team had the best approach on the loops, whether or not eating challenges are necessary, overnight IV's and the dirtiest player in the game (14:16 - 1:00:16). Next up we talk about how hard it is riding a bike, what we think the cameramen are missing, and what is with all these keys?! Did the producers of The Challenge rob a janitor in their sleep?! Next up we finish up the end of this *absolutely grueling* final with a discussion on the winners VS our original predictions, whether or not this win for Jordan moves him up our list on MT Rushmore, overarching thoughts on the season as a whole, our plans moving forward with the upcoming break and finally, Tony gives us an AMAZING update on his fundraiser for The Walk For Alzheimer's he has coming up at the end of this month (1:00:16 - END)!

#115 Trash Talk Roundtable_Challenge World Championship EP 11: Weight Of The World... The Final Already? W/ The Challenge Historian
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Trash Talk Roundtable Recap with your hosts Rick, Corrina and Tony! This week we had a VERY special returning guest on with us to recap The Challenge World Championship EP11 "Weight Of The World", the one and only The Challenge Historian AKA Jacob Hollabaugh. Join us as we start off by catching up with Jacob and talk about everything from his massive change to his personal features to his recent trip to Iceland where he got to do one of the Challenges they did on S36 Double Agents (0:00 - 14:00). Then we break into getting Jacob's overarching views of the season so far - so pretty much we give him 20 minutes to sum up the thoughts he has spent all season recapping on his own podcast (make sure you go check it out for a full run down) including his high level thoughts and a pressing question he wants Corrina's specific opinion on (14:00 - 37:53). Then, finally we break into recapping EP11 of The Challenge World Championship where we discuss whether this was Kaycee's episode to shine, our thoughts on whether or not Jordan is showing immense growth in his ability to take criticism or if he's just faking it for the show (shout out the cesspool that is Twitter-land), and our personal thoughts on whether or not Jordan and Kaz ever had any kind of special connection if you know what im saying. Jacob also proposes an interesting proposition about why we may not have been seeing hookups so heavily on The Challenge recently. Next we break into some behind the scenes info we were able to pick up regarding what happened during the daily and why Jordan/Kaz were never brought up by Sarah/Theo as an option for elimination as well as diving into nominations and whether or not Danny/Tori made the right decision by going with Jordan's plan. Yet again, Jacob proposes a wonderful question for us all about how we think the nomination ceremony is controlled and what keeps people from changing their vote after someone else casts theirs. We also breakdown the potential Sarah-Danny backstab and whether or not it was a planned veteran move or a major rookie mistake for Sarah and Emily to leave their microphones on in the bathroom. Lastly, we worship our leader, the Dirtiest Player in the Game for his impeccable move shaking up the house, our thoughts on this Hall Brawl (and what it could have been), Jordan's crazy game intuition, Troy's Final's Curse, our episode MVP's and all of our predictions for the final next week including who The Challenge Historian thinks could take the title if the team he chose on his podcast doesn't win! I know we're late with this one but you SERIOUSLY do NOT want to miss this one!

#113 Challengers Unplugged: Beyond The Edit with Horacio Gutierrez Jr.
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another epic episode of Challengers Unplugged where your hosts Rick, Corrina, Josh and Tony take you beyond the edit with some of your favorite Challengers to give you the opportunity to get to know them better. This week we sat down with none other than S38 Rookie of the Season and quite possibly Male Rookie of 2022/2023, Horacio Gutierrez, Jr. We kick off the episode by diving deep into Horacio's early life including what his dream job was as a kid, how he got into soccer and why it became so important to him. Horacio walks us through his soccer career through College, playing in Tasmania in the NPL, playing for Fayetteville in the USA, being scammed in Spain and even tells us about his traumatic knee surgery in Mexico. We then have Horacio explain to us what Exatlon was, how he got onto the show, how it differed from The Challenge, how he went from alternate to main cast yet again plus he tells us of the time he got into trouble on the show! Lastly we run through his time on MTV's The Challenge including how he and Olivia met, which of them got the call for the show, what his biggest worry with Olivia was VS when he knew she was the right partner for him, whether or not that front flip in his first elimination against Turbo was purposeful, what his most shocking connection in the house was, his true feelings on Jordan Wiseley, what moment he was most disappointed in himself for (trust us it's not what you think), his favorite daily/elimination, what moment he wished was shown in the final edit and even tells us what he thinks about Fessy Shafaat. #110 Trash Talk Roundtable_Challenge World Championship EP7: A New World Order.. A Myopic Recap of a Dystopian Future
Hey Challenge Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Trash Talk Roundtable with your hosts Rick, Corrina and Tony. I'm going to keep this one real simple by saying our intro is us clowning on IG trolls and talking about why this was one of the BEST episodes of The Challenge in recent seasons (0:00 - 13:00). Then we break into recapping the most recent episode of The Challenge World Championship EP 7 "A New World Order" where we discuss everything from the Kellyanne/Tristan and Jodi/Benja alliance, the impeccably boring daily challenge, why we think Sarah/Theo should have been dubbed the winners of said daily and how we feel about the USA pow-wow with everyone being a liar. We also break into why we think Tori leaving Kellyanne and Kaycee to talk solo was a bad idea, Kellyanne's powerful nomination flip, Ben and Kaycee infinitely choosing a side (their side), what we found so incredibly funny about this club scene, the final elimination and lastly, Corrina and Rick get into a heated debate on whether or not its okay that Tori gave Jordan an assist. We also give major props for Jordan and Bananas respect for each other as competitors, and we discuss how we think the final MUST be next week as half the cast is going out in an ambulance it seems (13:00 - END). This was honestly one of our favorite episodes of the season thus far and we had a BLAST talking about it.
Also, if you're a Marvel fan then you'll understand this but... wait for the "post credit" scene for a funny moment that didn't occur to us before but now has us wondering what all we've said on this podcast!
