Episode 5 - You Are Not The Sandwich - Interview with Jim Benton
Join Phil, Justin and Penelope as they interview Jim Benton, creator of Catwad, It's Happy Bunny, Dear Dumb Diary, Franny K. Stein, Jop and Blip Wanna Know, and so much more! We discuss his history reading and drawing comics, how Jim's comics speak to children AND adults, and what it's like creating a story with a whole classroom of kids. Episode 4 - The Landscape of All Ages Comics; an Interview with Penelope
After a brief hiatus, the pod is back! This episode is just the first of many installments discussing all-ages comics with Justin's daughter and comics' youngest aficionado, Penelope! Like our talk with her old man, we discuss some of her favorite stories across mediums and her history with comics before discussing suggestions. We also discuss Penelope's interest in drawing and how the audience for comics has changed. Comics are for everybody!

Episode 3 - So, You Want to Order Comic Books? A Guide to the American Comic Market
This week, Phil and Justin sit down to discuss how ordering from a comic shop differs from other means, and how to navigate the limited information before a comic is released to gauge if it's something you'll like. They also discuss the benefits of having a subscription list with your local comic shop, as well as briefly discussing other methods for purchasing and reading comics.
(Editor's correction: The recent Batman/Fortnite comic mentioned during this episode was originally priced at $4.99 rather than $8, and the trending price on eBay was at $45 rather than $120, although there is at least one instance of a consumer paying $117 for a copy of a first printing. Regardless, the large shift in price made it a timely example to discuss.)

Episode 2 - A Brief History of American Comic Books
Not all of us have an encyclopedic knowledge of the ins and outs of comics in America. Well, our hosts don't either. Listen along as they attempt to give a birds-eye view of not only the "ages" of comics, but the evolution of comic book publishing and distribution in the states. Complicated origin stories, amiright?
