And Now What? featuring Mario Bailey
An episode centered around vulnerability and compassion that I was almost too embarrassed to share. I had (and maybe am still having?) an identity crisis. What happens after you've been stripped of everything you've known? University of Washington Hall of Famer Mario Bailey went into hiding for 10 years after his playing career ended. Think about that...an entire decade! If you're struggling with who you are now, this episode will make you feel seen, heard, and understood.
Are You Happy? featuring Lofa Tatupu
"You can't say 'yes' to everything but I really try to stay away from 'no' because it's so negative. And 'yes' is so fun!" Seattle Seahawks legend Lofa Tatupu joins the show and shares why he joined The Master Plan TV (and how he got Ellen involved, too!), why TGIFriday's hits better in Germany, and learns why it can be good to not think before you speak.
Season 2 Premiere
The long-awaited new season of The Ellen Tailor Show is here. A perfectly imperfect return after an unexpectedly long absence. Let's catch up and set the stage for what's to come.
Timing Is Everything
The season finale of The Ellen Tailor Show covers timing. In some cases, we need to be patient because timing is everything. In others, timing only proves what's not meant for you. In the episode a peek at where we've been and where we're going. Also how YOU can help us honor Charlie's birthday by helping other animals in need.
Is This Therapy Thing Working?
You do all of the things to make yourself a better person. You read the books, go to therapy, blah, blah, blah. But how do you know it's working? After over a year of working on me (and wondering if any of it was actually helping) I found myself in a situation where I had to put my new skills to the test. In this week's episode, I'm encouraging you to not only have uncomfortable conversations with friends and also proving that it's necessary AND healthy!

I Caught C🦠VID
Welp. After 2+ years it finally got me. The Ellen Tailor Show is back after an unexpected week off and we're talking about my personal experience with the dreaded you-know-what. Also why we need to start giving our friends the credit they deserve. I'm even tossing in a few of your "Ask Me Anything" questions including why I don't use my legal last name and who of my old coworkers I still keep in touch with.

Take The High Road...Always
Obviously companies are allowed to make a change. And obviously they can handle that change however the see fit. But what's not-so-obvious is that YOU have the choice on how to handle being mistreated. In this episode, a true story about how despite being wronged and humiliated, taking the high road is always the right choice (even though it's the furthest thing from easy.)

Breach of Contract
You're faced with a dilemma. Stay at a job that knowingly takes advantage of you OR risk it all by breaching your contract for the chance at something more. What the world saw was a young professional working hard to make her dreams come true. What really happened was a lot more nuanced. The uncensored, true story, of what exactly had to happened that led Ellen Tailor from Grand Rapids, MI, to Seattle, WA.

Getting Discovered
When an unexpected (yet VERY exciting) opportunity presented itself, I found myself going back to my old habits. If I'm being honest, I was being a hypocrite and not taking my own advice. But in order to get to where we're going, we need to talk about where we've been. In this episode, how one day really can change your life.

How To Live Your Story
We have a bad habit of creating a story about things that haven't even happened yet. We picture getting married to the person we haven't even been on a first date with. We plot our way to the top of a job that we haven't even started. Stories cannot be written in real time. But we CAN make the choice to live in the moments that will, when the time is right, make up the stories that we'll tell for years to come.

You're Not Who You Were (And That's OK!)
In March 2020, the world stood still. Or so we told ourselves perhaps as a defense mechanism. The reality is time still went on. Two years later we find ourselves trying to "go back to normal." We're not who we were then, and that's ok! But is it possible to take the bits and pieces of us that we liked and bring them to the present all the while leaving behind the parts that no longer serve us?

You Don't Need To Prove You Care
See if you can follow me on this one. I acknowledge that I didn't acknowledge what's happening in the world on social media. This is a, perhaps controversial, conversation about the belief that we need to prove we care. Is a post going to make a difference? Respectfully. What if prioritizing your mental health and wellbeing first was seen as an act of self love vs being selfish? And if that's the case, why is it so hard to do?

Trying to Find Balance (And Not Doing It Very Well)
Gen Z is starting to rub off on me, and man, what I wouldn't give to go back and harness the naivety they still possess. It's hard to be optimistic about the future, especially when we know (all too well) that things can go very very wrong. So how do we find balance in a world that seems harder to live in now than it's ever been?

Tools for Dating (and Relationships in General)
Sharing tools, including the Enneagram and Attachment Styles, that will (in theory) help you navigate dating and relationships. And how despite having these tools, you can still find yourself completely unprepared when God delivers a man to your doorstep...literally.
My personal favorite website for everything Enneagram.
