how emma mckeon became our most successful olympian of all time
At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Emma McKeon became Australia’s most successful Olympian of all time.
Her 11 Olympic medals overall broke the previous Australian record of nine from Ian Thorpe and Leisel Jones over the course of their careers.
A failed attempt to qualify for the London 2012 Olympics was one of many moments where Emma chose to walk away from the sport, but it was her Olympic goal that always drew her back. Sport and the Olympics is a moment in time that unites people and creates such a strong community for the athletes.
This series is presented by Nike, championing athletes like Emma, listening to athlete’s needs and supporting them throughout all their journeys.
A true honour to sit down and chat with Emma to learn more about her journey through self-criticism, doubt and overwhelming pressure to becoming the most decorated Olympian in our countries’ history.

how jakara anthony became the most successful moguls skier in a single season
By 2022 she recorded the most successful season by an Australian winter sports athlete in history.
At the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, Jakara won every round of the competition to become just Australia's sixth ever winter gold medallist, and the first since Lydia Lassila in 2010.
In the 2023-2024 World Cup season, she won an incredible 14 World Cup events, which is the most ever by a mogul skier in a single season.

leaving a legacy with matildas goalkeeper lydia williams
Lydia is a proud Noongar woman who was born in Katanning, WA, but lived most of her childhood years in Kalgoorlie, a small town north-east of Perth.

the presser: running across antarctica with donna urquhart
Run Antarctica is a world first, Guinness World Record attempt to complete the longest ultramarathon in a polar region in history. Donna Urquhart is an ultra-marathon runner and pain scientist who is about to attempt at Union Glacier Camp in Antarctica, the coldest, windiest and driest desert on earth, on 4th December 2023.
The conditions will include sub-zero temperatures, winds of up to 100km/h. Donna is doing it for her life’s passion: showing other females what is possible for them, and empowering them with a holistic approach of integrating mental and physical skills to explore their own possibilities. She aims to break down the barriers that prevent women and girls from participating.
Research shows that girls can find sport “stressful” and that 50% stop participating during adolescence (aged 15-19 years).
The steps we will take through Run Antarctica include; raising awareness about females’ experience of sport, providing education on a holistic approach to sport, and raising funds for our charity partners: Danny Frawley Centre, Stars Foundation, GAME, & Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund
