Episode 156. Vancouver Golf Tour Commissioner, Mr. Fraser Mulholland
In this episode Pais and Parks catch up with THE Commish, Fraser Mulholland, live after the VGT winter series event at Mayfair Lakes GCC. We discuss everything VGT for the upcoming 2021 season and what the landscape looks like during the COVID era. In this episode we sit down with the Assistant Coach for the Golf Canada Team, Mr. Andrew Parr.  Andrew was a former professional golfer out of Ontario who attended Texas A&M to pursue his dream of playing professional golf. He had a successful college career before turning pro and winning at his first event on the Gateway Tour.  He not only played on some of the mini tours, he had a few cracks at the Nationwide and PGA Tours.  Andrew also had a health scare in his early 20's that changed his perspective on life that helped push him in several different directions, some that he was never expecting.  We also dive into his work with RYU and his newest project- Wildernest Camp. In this episode we bring on one of the finest representatives of First Tee, Mr. Bob Dow.  First tee is a children's program run through the PGA Tour that has changed millions of lives over the years. In this episode all the boys got the chance to not only speak with the Head Professional of Tobiano, Shannon Mcgeady, but we also got to speak in person! We had the honor of stopping by Tobiano Golf Club on the last leg of our BC trip and got to dive deep into Shannon's past while sipping a pint on the beautiful patio at the club.  Shannon describes her upbringing in Saskatchewan and what the golf scene looked like at that time and how her decision to stay in Canada over going to the states to pursue the game lead her to one of the most sought after positions in the country.  It was an absolute pleasure to not only meet and chat with Shannon but also to have had the chance to get back out on the course we all love and enjoy the natural beauty of Tobiano. Episode 87. Golfer. Artist. Hunter. Weight LIfter. Cancer Survivor- The Story of Tanner Whidden
In this episode the boys have a chat with a long time friend of Parksy, Mr. Tanner Whidden.  Tanner is a former Grant MacEwan graduate and was a former club pro in Fort Nelson, BC until he switched into the oil and gas industry.  A few years back Tanner was diagnosed with a rare form of spinal cancer which left him paralyzed from the ribs down. That ordeal obviously lead Tanner down a vicious spiral in his life, mentally, physically and emotionally.  But what makes Tanner such an inspiring individual was the fact that those issues did not hold him down. He started focusing his attention into other avenues, which included artwork, weight lifting and eventually back into golf in a motorized stand up cart.  This chat left all of us speechless and incredibly grateful for what we take for granted.  We hope you all feel the same way after this episode.  Cheers!

We discussed what his experience has been like playing on multiple tours within North and Latin America and how those experiences are helping him gain confidence. Ryan comes from an incredibly athletic family and how those athletics genes have helped motivate him throughout his life.
