This week's guest is Kao Saechao, aka Kaotonix, as his artist and producer name goes by. Kao Saechao. Kao is a Mien-American, born in a refugee camp in Thailand. He came to the United States when he was 5 years old. 

He fell in love with music and art at a young age, starting with the violin. Kao played in a folk band called Strings n Things and was also a part of an orchestra where he learned to play Bach, Beethoven, and other types of classical music. He put music aside to pursue art and school until In college at UC Davis he ventured into the world of making beats. 

With no formal education, he learned to record, mix, and master everything on his own. Kaotonix is the music project that he started in 2013 and has since garnered over 2.5 million plays on Soundcloud and over 4 million plays on YouTube. It focuses on fusing his love of hip hop, pop, and electronic music. His brand is based around authenticity, DIY, independence from a label, and visually it draws art from sunsets and clouds.

Christopher Kenji is an award-winning fashion model, a Top 10 West Coast Songwriting Finalist of the international NewSong Music Competition, and a San Francisco-based independent, multi-instrumentalist artist/producer who is on a mission to bring heartfelt songwriting, honest lyrics, and rock ‘n roll back into the mainstream music world.

​Kenji has done modeling work in association with internationally acclaimed fashion and commercial brands such as Dior, Amazon, etc. He has acted in commercials for AT&T, Compass, and additionally, in promo footage for the 2019 film Greener Grass featuring Saturday Night Live star, Blake Bennett.

Kenji has also done commercial voice-over work, has appeared on the front covers of multiple editorial fashion magazines such as Moevir Magazine, Pump Magazine, Shuba Magazine, etc., and has walked the runway at many major fashion weeks ––some of which include: LA Fashion Week, Chicago Fashion Week (where he also performed as the lead headlining musical guest), San Francisco Fashion Week, award-winning designer, William Lei’s SS20 & SS21 Exclusive Runway Showcases and many more.

​Kenji grew up listening to hard rock and took up guitar when he was about 10 years old. On his journey, he became fascinated by traditional blues, Spanish flamenco, and percussive fingerstyle guitar which all uniquely shaped his playing. In his teenage years, he additionally taught himself drums, music production, and how to sing. With a naturally deep, raspy, bass voice type in contemporary music's male tenor-dominated market, Kenji stands out like a sore thumb but he strives to make that thumb a thumbs up.

​After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2017, Kenji then fell into a professional modeling career in 2018. In July 2020, he made his artist debut and has currently released six singles. His new release, "Live from Battery Spencer" is now available on all streaming platforms and the accompanying live session videos can be viewed on Christopher Kenji's official YouTube channel.

Influenced by his sense of adventure along his journey of self-discovery, Garrick Wong first picked up a camera at the age of twenty-three. While growing up embracing digital technology in an increasingly connected world, Garrick saw the necessity of multicultural storytelling in the international photography industry.

After graduating from San Francisco State University with a BA in Print and Online Journalism, he worked as a photojournalist for multiple newspapers throughout San Francisco. A few years later, Garrick's experience as a visual storyteller brought him into the fashion world. Inspired by the elegance, simplicity, and beauty of the classic masters, he enjoys creating unique portraits and fashion editorials that are reminiscent of 35mm black and white film.

Garrick currently resides in Sacramento, California, where he was born and raised. His photography business travels regularly between Sacramento, San Francisco, and Hong Kong.

Thank you for tuning into episode 14 of the Full Circle Show. Today's guest is Desaree 'Lynee' Deckard, but you can call her Duckee. The name was given to her because her walk which resembles a duck, was given to her by a friend which she believes resembles her fun, energetic, and bubbly personality. 

Aside from the name though, is her work. As an artist, she has designed for numerous organizations and institutions, including  Sacramento City College, California Coalition For Rural Housing, Blue Nile Press, Art of the Day Sacramento, and stationery designs for small businesses and personal brands. 

With that she has also painted during live events, judged art competitions, taught art workshops with an after-school program, and even during public affairs. 

Working as a social media marketing specialist, she has helped push her brand, while working with others to market their visions to the world of social media, but her heart and soul lie with Art Of The Day Sacramento, a personal love letter to the city that raised her. She created and curates content almost daily, to aid in the promotion of the local art scene of Sacramento, California. In this episode, we talk about dropping out of school, what it takes to style a person, and working with bigger brands for the first time. Hey guys, it's Uli, welcome to the Full Circle Show Josh is a personal stylist who wants to make you look good. He first started Styling in July 2018 attending American River College while working at Taco Bell. Wanting to keep himself busy before school and work, he would style his friends and family asking for little to no compensation. A year into styling, he caught his first big break when asked by Ulises to help style 8 models for a Fashion Show. The rest was history. After receiving a certification in Fashion Retail and spending 1 semester at Sacramento State, he knew school wasn’t for him. Saying goodbye to what he hopes was his last time attending school, Josh knew he wanted to focus just on styling. After completing his largest photoshoot under Bearpaw, he plans on doing more commercial work and styling business people

Episode 9 of The Full Circle Show is in the books! This episode is a bit special and I decided to take a different approach when interviewing our guest.

It is rare that I meet someone at or around my age in the video and film industry in Sacramento, who has bigger ambitions of progressing in the field.

This episode's guest is Jeremy Bouie. He is a 19-year-old videographer/filmmaker. When asked to send over a bio that represents him he said, "I'm just a boy from the hood trying to make a name for myself as a filmmaker".

Being able to listen to his story was impactful, to say the least. I think it is super inspirational to hear the development of his mindset and ambitions before he started shooting videos to where he is at now.
