Ep #185 How to deal with negative social media reviews! ~ From The Humble Entrepneur.
In today's digital age, social media is one of the most important channels for businesses to connect with their customers. But with that power comes responsibility. Businesses need to be prepared to deal with negative reviews, both good and bad.
Negative reviews can be tough to swallow, but they can also be a valuable learning opportunity. When you receive a negative review, take the time to read it carefully and understand the customer's complaint. Then, respond in a professional and respectful way.
Here are a few tips for responding to negative reviews:
Acknowledge the customer's complaint.
Apologize for any inconvenience or frustration the customer has experienced.
Explain what steps you're taking to address the issue.
Offer to make things right, if possible.
It's important to remember that negative reviews are not always fair or accurate. But even if you disagree with the customer's complaint, it's important to respond in a way that is respectful and helpful.
By responding to negative reviews in a thoughtful and timely manner, you can show your customers that you value their feedback and that you're committed to providing a positive experience.

Ep #183 RANT ~ Always have a back up! ~ From The Humble Entrepreneur.
As you know, life doesn't always go according to plan. Things happen that are out of our control, and sometimes our plans have to change.
That's why it's so important to have a backup plan.
A backup plan is a contingency plan that you have in place in case your original plan doesn't work out. It could be anything from having a second job lined up in case you lose your current job to having a plan for how you'll get home if your car breaks down.
Having a backup plan can give you peace of mind knowing that you're prepared for whatever life throws your way. It can also help you to stay calm and focused when things go wrong.
In this episode, we'll talk about why it's important to have a backup plan, and if you have any questions about backup plans, please leave them in the comments below. We'll do our best to answer them.

Ep #182 Social media is not essential for a small business to be successful! ~ From The Humble Entrepreneur.
Social media has become an integral part of our lives, and it's easy to see why businesses would want to be a part of it. After all, social media can be a great way to connect with customers, promote your products or services, and build brand awareness.
But the truth is, social media isn't necessary for every business. In fact, there are some businesses that are better off without it.
Here are a few reasons why social media might not be right for your business:
Your target audience is not on social media. If your target audience is older adults, for example, they're less likely to be on social media than younger adults.
You don't have the time or resources to manage social media effectively. Social media can be a time-consuming and resource-intensive investment. If you don't have the time or resources to do it right, it's better to skip it altogether.
Your business model doesn't lend itself to social media. If your business is B2B, for example, you may not need social media to reach your customers.
If you're thinking about using social media for your business, it's important to weigh the pros and cons carefully. If you decide that social media isn't right for you, don't worry. There are plenty of other ways to reach your customers and build your brand. Before social media was invented people still managed to effectively market their businesses!
If you're interested in learning more about how to use social media effectively for your business, be sure to get in touch with me. And if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below.

So, what can you do about bad customers? The best thing is to try to avoid them in the first place. Ep #177 Five, Key stages to your customers journey, and why you need to know them ~ From The Humble Entrepreneur.
The customer journey is the series of interactions a customer has with a brand, product, or business as they become aware of a pain point and make a purchase decision. It can be divided into four main stages: awareness, consideration, decision, and loyalty.
It is important to understand the customer journey because it can help you improve your marketing and sales strategies. By understanding where customers are in their journey, you can tailor your messaging and offers to their needs. For example, if a customer is in the awareness stage, you may want to focus on advertising and social media campaigns that raise awareness of your brand. If a customer is in the consideration stage, you may want to offer free trials or discounts to encourage them to try your product or service. And if a customer is in the decision stage, you may want to offer a free consultation or guarantee to make them feel confident in their purchase.
By understanding the customer journey, you can create a more seamless and enjoyable experience for your customers. This can lead to increased sales, improved customer satisfaction, and stronger brand loyalty.
Here are some tips for mapping your customer journey:
• Start by identifying your target customers. Who are you trying to reach with your product or service? What are their needs and wants?
• Map out the different stages of the customer journey. What are the different touchpoints that customers have with your brand?
• Identify the key pain points for your customers at each stage of the journey. What are the challenges they are facing? What are their frustrations?
• Develop strategies to address the key pain points at each stage of the journey. How can you make it easier for customers to do business with you?
• Measure the results of your efforts. How are your customers responding to your efforts to improve the customer journey?
By mapping your customer journey and taking steps to improve it, you can create a more positive and rewarding experience for your customers. This can lead to increased sales, improved customer satisfaction, and stronger brand loyalty.

Ep #175 Rant ~ Don’t sacrifice clients for short term financial gain! ~ From The Humble Entrepreneur.
In the long run, having long-term clients will be more profitable for your business than constantly trying to find new clients. It is important to invest in building relationships with your clients and providing them with excellent service. Ep #160 More turnover does not always = more profit! ~ From The Humble Entrepreneur.
“Turnover is vanity profit is sanity and cash is king!” ~ We have all heard that old chestnut, but does not mean it is not true!
When it comes to running a successful business, the most important aspect of financial management is cash flow. Whilst it may look impressive to have vast levels of revenue from sales, your primary focus should be on ensuring a regular inflow of cash. Don’t forget – even a multi million pound enterprise can still fail due to poor cash flow management.
So here we discuss just because you are increasing turnover do not always mean profit is increasing. And sometimes the increase in turn over does not always mean its worth having for a smaller increase in profits!
Ep #159 The power of consistency in business: 5 rules! ~ From The Humble Entrepreneur.
Consistency in your business is far more important than you can think. Being consistent allows your business to establish awareness, build trust and deliver your services efficiently and profitably. Without it, your business is more likely to fail.
Your business is a machine that runs on systems and processes. How well your business runs depends on how consistent you are in all departments of your business. Consistency can impact on many areas of business. Maintaining a consistent level of service is essential, ensuring that clients always receive and expect high standards from us. Consistently delivering on what we say we will means that clients know what they can get from us, so we tick their boxes and keep them happy – important for building relationships.
Consistency = Results #fact.
Ep #158 Five reasons to stop comparing yourself and your business to others! ~ From The Humble Entrepreneur.
“comparison is the thief of joy” ~ Theodore Roosevelt
You might not admit this but we are all guilty of doing it at times, for all of the many great things I have achieved in business, I still at times find myself doing the self same thing! We see one thing in a person that shows us how we would like to be, in success or in worth and make an instant assessment of comparison.

Ep #150 6 Reasons your need a Business Plan! From The Humble Entrepreneur.
When people think about business plans they think of some massive leather bound document only pulled out when you see the bank manager looking for funding. But in truth there as many other reasons you should have a business plan, even if it’s a basic one.
A business plan is a written document that describes your business. It covers objectives, strategies, sales, marketing and financial forecasts.
A business plan helps you to:
· clarify your business idea
· spot potential problems
· set out your goals
· measure your progress
A business plan is the blueprint for your business. Starting a business without a business plan is like building a house without a blueprint. Yet, unlike a house, a business isn't static. We often make the mistake of thinking of a business plan as a single document that you put together once when you're starting out and never touch again. But as the business develops, so should its business plan. In fact, any particular business may have multiple business plans as its objectives change.
