Potential For Severe T-Storms Later Today
Thunderstorms will become more numerous during the late afternoon & evening, into early tonight. Some may contain damaging wind gusts or hail.

A hot weekend, with plenty of sun heading our way.
Tropical Storm Fay Will Affect The State Later Today & Tonight
Most of the rain will taper off by breakfast time Saturday. Another shower or t-storm could pop up during the day.
The Heat Index will approach 100 in the Hartford area this afternoon.
The Hurricane Center gives the system moving up the east coast an 80% of becoming a tropical/subtropical depression/storm today or tomorrow.
Some towns will see a torrential downpour today.
An interesting system drifting up the east coast may affect us late in the week.

Hot today. A back door cold front will bring some changes Friday.

Any thunderstorms this afternoon may contain hail or gusty wind, and heavy downpours. They will tend to be slow-moving again.
On the lookout for showers & storms.
Low pressure and a cool pool aloft, combined with warm, humid air at the surface will result in scattered, but locally heavy showers & t-storms during the next few days.
