The MTP Bonus Episode: 2 RMTS and a Mic X The MTP
We've teamed up with Mark and Amanda from 2 Massage Therapists and a Microphone once again for this bonus episode for you. Even though we are currently on a recording break as we (Nicole & Heather) prepare to move their practices to a new location, we had to get behind the mic again after the latest fee announcement from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (May 2022). Listen in as we discuss how we felt when we read the $100 fee increase for 2023, review the CMTO's rationale behind this increase, break down some math for you, and of course our usual ramblings! We all bring a different perspective as some of us have our General Certificate, some Inactive, some have experience with the CMTO, feel free to join in on the conversations as maybe you know something we missed.

The MTP E206: Spilling Tea with Noterro
When Noterro slid into our DMs (not like that) and asked to sit down and talk with Nicole and Heather, we were of course ecstatic. For one, we were honoured that a large company wanted to be on our podcast and two we both use Noterro in our businesses! We were so excited to learn more about the inner workings of this platform. Okay, okay and three we wanted to meet the guys, Nick and Ryan, who help us answer all of our tickets and make sure they didn't hate us (insert Heather's sarcasm here). If you are currently interested in onboarding a online system for charting and scheduling, be sure to tune into this episode. The MTP E203: Spilling Tea with Dr. Theresa Lisk
RMTs in Ontario often work with Chiropractors in multidisciplinary settings or referral relationship. Since we are often referring clients to Chiropractors or even getting adjustments ourselves, we wanted to sit down with a Chiropractor and get all the tea! We reached out to our friend and colleague, Dr. Theresa Lisk, to come chat about how adjustments work, how they know where to adjust and when/why other manual practitioners may want to refer a client to a Chiropractor. We discussed some pretty cool topics, learned some new information ourselves and even discussed some common misconceptions around Chiropractic care. And of course, as we always do, we got into Dr. Lisk's 'True Why' and purpose in this profession.
Get your kettle boiling, put up your feet and enjoy!

The MTP E202 - Let's Talk Peer Assessment ft 2RMTs & a Mic
Hi Massage Friends!
We had an episode all planned with you and due to technical difficulties as well as some other potential issues we stumbled upon, we had to pivot (haha Ross!). So instead we sat down with our friends Mark and Amanda with 2 Massage Therapists and a Microphone, to discuss what we learned from our vaulted episode and shine our own light on the CMTO Peer Assessment process. Of course there were tangents too! So grab a your cup of tea (or wine in this case) and join us as we provide another side of the coin.

The MTP E201: Stress and Burnout
Welcome to Season 2!
Thank you for tuning in while we took a small break to clear our minds and get prepared to bring you some great content this season! We wanted to kick it off with chatting a bit about what is one of the biggest conditions that has been impacting the world, especially over the last year. We have witnessed it in our clients, our colleagues, family members, and of course, ourselves. Everyone talks about Stress and Burnout but do you know what it actually is? Tune in as we chat a bit on the topic, but trust us this wont be the last time as this topic is way to large to fit in one episode.

E010: MTP Rants - Returning to Work Amidst a Pandemic
We've been told we can go back to work, but what does that mean?
In this episode we discuss our return to work amid COVID-19 pandemic, the guidelines that have been set for us by the Government and the CMTO and how that looks for us and our clinic. We hope our discussion may help other RMTs make way through the confusion and stress on getting their practice back up and running. The beauty of our business can also be the hardest part, as no two practices look alike and as therapists we need to assess the risks vs benefits for our clients and ourselves.
