Other People's Opinions Are None of Your Business
In this episode Jami tackles the idea that "Other People's Opinions Are None of Your Business." Through exploring the negativity bias in the context of ADHD, imposter syndrome, and rejection sensitive dysphoria, the host explained why it's so important for neurodivergent individuals to let go of the opinions of others.
Jami discusses how negativity bias can cause us to focus more on the negative opinions of others, even when those opinions are in the minority. This can lead to a cycle of self-doubt and negative self-talk that can be difficult to break.

Celebrating International Women's Day: Exploring Gender Equality and ADHD
On International Women's Day I felt it important to look back and what the ADHD Diagnosis used to look like and why boys were diagnosed more frequently. Times have changed and awareness and diganostic criteria has been positively altered to include girls and women. Boys/men are still 3xs more likely to be diagnosed that females. Today's episode talks about the the dangers of not receiving an ADHD diagnosis for women and the risks ADHD have for females in general.

Where Does Loving Others Begin? A Tribute to The Greatest
If you didn't know Jami was the host of First Do No Harm podcast.
In 2020 Jami's wonderful mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. She has fought and enjoyed every minute of life she had left through the years. Unfortunately 11/23/2022 at 11:52pm her battle with cancer was over.
Jami recorded an episode in May 2019 about the importance of loving others. Through the year's Jan Jackson became so proud of The Neurodivergent Nurse and the members of the community that finally felt seen and loved. Before there was that account the importance of loving and supporting others was taught. Please enjoy this episode of First Do No Harm as tribute to Jami's Mom.

ADHD Burnout
We have heard of burnout. If you work in the medical field you have certainly heard about it and likely felt it since the pandemic started two years ago. “ADHD Burnout” is often something a little deeper.
It refers to the cycle of overcommitting and overextending that leads to fatigue in people with ADHD. It involves taking on too many tasks and/or commitments, and then the subsequent exhaustion that happens when we’re unable to fulfill all of our obligations.
But why is burnout so prevalent in our community especially? On this episode I chat with you about WHY burnout happens to US so frequently and ways in which to alleviate it.
