S02E10 - Loving Lebanon from Afar w/ Mariam

A complex kind of love is one that depicts an immigrant’s story; there’s a love-hate relationship deeply intertwined as we grow of age, an interview with Mariam sharing the expat story of loving Lebanon from Afar as her career brings her to the Netherlands. Leaving the familiar and adjusting ears to a new language and social protocols as old and new realities knock on her door in her journey that echoes of home, family and identity.

E08: Fresh Faith

Episode 8 - Fresh Faith was written two weeks ago but recorded yesterday. I wanted to make sure that I aired my thoughts for a while but still document these moments. This episode was honestly a foodie quest for any restaurants that allowed outdoor dining but one Sunday morning after a remix of community quarantines, a few tarpaulins and familiar prayers from a distant speaker led her feet to a refreshing visit to somewhere she hasn't entered in for almost two years. When people ask how life is like here in Manila, find out more through this little Makati adventure in this episode.
