Movie theatres are now showing "Black Widow" as an epic stand-alone movie in the iconic MCU - Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even though Natasha Romanov (played by Scarlett Johansen) has been well-loved, her character died heroically in the last Avengers movie, and we get a close inside eye on her past. In the movie, we see Natasha's past, as she tries to wrestle with her emotions, being an elite-spy trained with trauma-induced mind-control programming by the scary narcissistic General Drekov (Ray Winstone), in his 'Red-Room' for female assassins-in-training, to carry out his will, to kill.
I reviewed the Black Widow movie recently for a USA podcast movie reviewer, hosted by The QC Quick Critic.
