We speak to them about the times before the band, when the band formed, the gigs, the alleged chart hyping and the ending of The Pinkees. They have also re-released their album on all major platforms to celebrate 40 years since the release of their album!

In this podcast Ryan, Lewis, Chris, and Sam discuss how life in a band can sometimes interfere with life playing in a band. Being in a band is a big commitment, organising rehearsals that fit around everyone's schedules, gigging, even general band meet ups, these can all take a toll on the personal life, which can sometimes lead to band splits, members departing and even couples splitting up. We dicuss our personal views on how you can balance work and personal life with being in a band.

Will Gigging Ever Be The Same Again?
In this podcast Ryan, Lewis, Chris, and Sam discuss whether gigging will ever be the same again after the Coronavirus pandemic. It is still very current in the news and this horrid virus is taking lives, but thankfully, many people are recovering, and the rate of infection is decreasing. The UK Government has slightly eased the UK lockdown, but is it to soon? Will there be a second spike, leading to a second lockdown and more deaths? How normal will life be when we finally do see the other end of this nightmare, will venues only allow a certain number of people in? Will they have to socially distance themselves, or will it just all go back to normal? Join us in this discussing where we see if Gigging Will Ever Be the Same Again.

Like us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/thepeppermintapes
In this Podcast, Ryan, Lewis, Chris and Sam discuss whether the music industry has been harmed since the introduction of music streaming platforms. In the past, all four of us have visited the local record stores and purchased new albums, singles or even just for the magazines to stay up to date with the music news. This may now be a thing of the past as this is all now available within a single phone application. Please join us as we venture into the world of digital streaming versus physically owned music and whether it has harmed the industry.
Special thanks to Bill, Steve, Brad, Christina, Colin and Zach for providing us with their opinions regarding this topic

Influences
In this podcast Ryan, Lewis, Chris and Sam discuss the bands and artists who influence them to play their instrument. The band have a massive range of influences to help bring ideas and inspiration to their music, from John Mayer to Periphery. The band also have a special guest on this podcast, Mr Zach Levine, who kindly provided the amazing saxophone track for our latest cover song, The 1975 – If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know). We do not usually meet any reed, brass or woodwind instrumentalist often, so we took the opportunity to speak with Zach and discuss what influences him, what made him want to learn the saxophone.
We briefly discuss the method we took to record our latest cover whilst in Lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can watch our cover here:

Lockdown - Is YouTube the Key To Success?
In this podcast Ryan, Lewis, Chris and Sam discuss whether YouTube is the go to platform for undiscovered talents, especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The UK at this time are on lockdown, as is most of the world, therefore, YouTube audiences will begin to rise due to the sheer amount of people who are home and using the service, including industry representatives.
Because at this time the UK are on lockdown, we cannot meet in person to discuss this topic, so we have used Skype to help us bring this podcast to you, so we apologise for the audio quality.
Of course, we briefly mention the current status of the COVID-19 Pandemic, but we want to try and spur away from this subject and focus on the tools musicians can use, whether you are just starting out or have experience, to gain exposure and begin the get recognition from the worldwide audience.
Stay Safe and we hope you enjoy this podcast

This virus has claimed lives and is able to infect people, causing misleading symptoms close to the common cold, but can potentially escalate into more severe symptoms such as severe flu, pneumonia or SARS. Was it caused by a Chinese livestock market conditions or is a conspiracy behind it all? Of course, we are a band and are discussing how this virus is affecting the local music scene, as well as the music industry.
