Her research focuses on alcohol consumption and sexual risk behavior. We will explore the implications of alcohol on today’s hookup culture and what can be done to address it.
Aisha's Law
In this episode titled, Aisha’s Law -– Dr. Smith explores the topic of domestic violence laws and policy. This episode takes it’s name from A proposed bill in the state of Ohio named after Aisha Fraser, the former wife of an ex-judge and ex-state lawmaker who is accused of stabbing her to death in Shaker Heights. This bill seeks to better protect victims of domestic violence.
This episode my guest will be State Representative Janine Boyd of Ohio House District 9 – Cleveland Heights. She will share her quest to pass Aisha’s Law in hopes of preventing other domestic violence homicides. New York Time’s Editor’s Choice Author, Rachel Louise Snyder will discuss her book, No Visible Bruises.
