How Couples Counseling Works - 'Therapy-ish (ft. Toya Foster)
In this week’s episode of ‘Therapy-ish, we sit down with Austin-based LPC Toya Foster, who serves as the clinic director for The Center of Relationships! Toya specializes in couples counseling and the use of the Gottman Method in couples therapy. This episode is all about the ins and outs of couples counseling. Incest & Religious Abuse
We have to turn it into a two part episode, so in this episode we will touch on the first half of incest and then we will touch on religious abuse next week. We discussed how therapy can help with processing incestuous trauma, how to to have conversations with our children and how these interactions may be impacting some of us today.
