A "Thank You" to You! The Season End.
Hi, I’m Andy Kirchner and this is a shout out and a thank you to my private backers and Patreons who inspired me to record the Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery.
Without you this series wouldn’t have been possible. Even with Covid-19 messing up our daily lives you stayed patient and kept your faith in me. Not only did that inspire me to keep doing what I do, but to do more for the people getting overwhelmed with all the Corona news. Even more when we had to go into a lock down.
That wasn’t easy Innovation Ç came on the path and with that I could reach more people than I could do by my self. That inspired me again to discover the world of Podcasts more. It even got me a grant from Active Chance, a Canadian organization who backs Social Entrepreneurship on the island.
After this session I will take a short break and soon come back with higher quality sound equipment thanks to you, CuraDAO, Active Chance and all the Patreons that supported me. Please join me at Innovation Ç for our Digital Conferences with many inspirational stories and ideas that can have a lasting social impact. And let’s keep inspiring each other,
I am grateful for you.

Respect: The Eight of the Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery
Hi, I’m Andy Kirchner and these are my eight basic guidelines for self mastery. Today I’ll talk about the eight of the eight guidelines: Respect. Let me repeat it once more.
8. Respect
Respect yourself and respect the people surrounding you. Everyone has a reason and everyone has the right to live. Only by respecting others will you receive respect in return.
What is respect to you? How much do you respect yourself? Do you feel you are respected enough?
Probably not. Probably you feel you deserve a little, or even, a lot more. Respect is earned. Not by what others give you but with what you give yourself. You are the beginning of a chain of respect. Come from a place where you master yourself and your respect will come to you. I promise.
That was it for today. Thank you for listening This was the end of my first series. Thank you for sticking along.
My next episode will be a thank you to all who made this possible. In the meanwhile, share this episode with your family, friends, colleagues or your dog. Don’t forget to subscribe and remember you can find me as The Recycled Pirate on Facebook and Instagram with daily new content.

Believe: The Seventh of the Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery
Hi, I’m Andy Kirchner and these are my eight basic guidelines for self mastery
Today I’ll talk about the seventh of the eight guidelines: Believe. Let me repeat it once more.
7. Believe
Believe. Believing is the beginning of the power to heal and to grow. Believe in something. It doesn’t matter what you want to call it, God, Universe or energy. Just believe you’ve been created for a reason and your reason is to live and to thrive.
What do you believe in? Do you believe in yourself today? Do you believe you are busy or do you believe you can handle it? Believe is the beginning of everything. If you believe in doing that difficult task, it just got easier. If you believe you can forgive, your pain will become less.
If you can believe that you deserve, you will get what you earn.
Believing is not a one moment thing, believing is many moments stuck together with many doubts in between and that’s OK. You are only human. But in that human that is you, is a huge belief. That’s why you can walk, drive a car or cook today. You believed once, so you can do it again.
Believe in every day that you will do something to increase your belief in yourself. Believe that!
That was it today. Thank you for listening
The next episode is about Respect, but let’s believe a little bit more in ourselves first. Share this episode with your family, friends, colleagues or your dog. Don’t forget to subscribe and remember you can find me as The Recycled Pirate on Facebook and Instagram with daily new content.

Acknowledgment: The Sixth of the Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery
Hi, I’m Andy Kirchner and these are my eight basic guidelines for self mastery.
Today I’ll talk about the sixth of the eight guidelines: Acknowledgment. Let me repeat it once more.
6. Acknowledge
Acknowledgment is the best healer. Acknowledge your pain. Acknowledge your joy. Acknowledge the task at hand and you will have a stronger foundation to build on.
Acknowledgment is the most powerful healer of all. Acknowledgment is taking it a step further than just accepting. With acknowledgment, you really set someone free. If you acknowledge your own wrong doing or someone’s right doing you are empowering not just yourself but someone else as well. Acknowledgment is the closure you seek after an ended relationship. Acknowledgment is the teacher that tells you, it’s ok to be you. So acknowledge someone today. And tomorrow!
That was it for today. Thank you for listening
The next episode is about Believe, but let’s acknowledge ourselves first. Share this episode with your family, friends, colleagues or your dog. Don’t forget to subscribe and remember you can find me as The Recycled Pirate on Facebook and Instagram with daily new content.

Acceptance: The Fifth of the Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery
Hi, I’m Andy Kirchner and these are my eight basic guidelines for self mastery Today I’ll talk about the fifth of the eight guidelines: Accept. Let me repeat it once more.
5. AcceptAccept yourself. Accept the world around you. Accept the situation the way it is. This does not mean that you don’t aim for improvement, it just means you accept what is, for what it is. If you want to accomplish anything, you will need to meet the situation where it’s at. Accept that and you WILL accomplish greatness.
Acceptance is a very powerful tool. Accepting that you didn’t know better for example will teach you to be patient with yourself and with others.
That was it for today. Thank you for listening

Correct yourself; The Fourth of the Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery
Hi, I’m Andy Kirchner and these are my eight basic guidelines for self mastery.
Today I’ll talk about the fourth of the eight guidelines: Correct yourself. Let me repeat it once more.
4. Correct yourself
Correcting yourself does not mean punishing yourself. It is accepting you could have done something better. Once correcting yourself becomes a routine, you become your own teacher and your own student. If you can correct yourself, you reach a higher level of consciousness than most people around you.
This is where I preach. You have to hold yourself accountable. It doesn’t matter who’s fault it is or who caused what, you always play a part in your own experiences.
Thank you for listening

Complain; The Third of the Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery
Hi, I’m Andy Kirchner and these are my eight basic guidelines for self mastery. Today I’ll talk about the third of the eight guidelines: Complain. Let me repeat it once more.
3. ComplainComplain less, that’s the first rule. But if you need to complain, complain till your bucket is empty. Accept the issue and work on solving it. Don’t stay stuck in what you can’t change. When the time is right, you will earn what you deserve. If you complain in a healthy way, you take the pressure off.
Complaining is never a strategy, but have you noticed what stress does to you? Do you feel anxiety or insecurities? Have you experienced that build up? Complaining can be just having a conversation about these emotions.

Focus; The Second of Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery
Hi, I’m Andy Kirchner and these are my eight basic guidelines for self mastery Today I’ll talk about the second of the eight guidelines: Focus. Let me repeat it once more.
2. FocusLearn to focus. Don’t let the surrounding noise take you away from what you need to accomplish. Learn the difference between what you need and what you want. Focus on your needs, but make sure to include things that you really want, to keep your focus healthy.
How do you focus with so many distractions around you? TV, Phone, Social Media, kids, friends, everything and everyone wants a piece of you. It is very easy to get overwhelmed and lose your focus. To become more disciplined, we need to have a better focus.

Discipline; The First of Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery
Hi I’m Andy Kirchner and these are my Eight Basic Guidelines for Self Mastery.
Today I’ll talk about the first of the eight guidelines: Discipline. Let me repeat it once more.
1. Discipline
Once you master discipline, everything else comes easy. Discipline is NOT punishment. It’s actually fun when you understand it. Discipline is seeing the importance of doing a task or routine to be better prepared and be more at ease with whatever comes your way.
During our upbringing many of us are taught the restrictions of discipline. We are disciplined by our parents, and experience the limitation of discipline rather than learn how discipline can benefit us. If we were taught discipline more playful we would embrace it way more.
Thank you for listening. The next edition is about Focus, but let’s get a little reward first. Share this episode with your family, friends, colleagues or your dog. Don’t forget to subscribe and remember you can find me as The Recycled Pirate on Facebook and Instagram with daily new content.

many titles, but none are really important. I’m here as a fellow human.
I was born on Curaçao 21 November 1976 and started The Recycled Pirate after a life altering accident that was supposed to leave me paralyzed
It has been my calling since to trigger conversations and alter our thinking. If I can recycle life, why shouldn’t others be able to do so? And there, a path of self discovery opened on which I’m trying to take as many as possible along on my journey.
