3 Steps to Learn from a Mistake
When you make a mistake, do you choose to see it as failure or see it as an opportunity to learn? It comes down to a choice. Your Choice! You can either feel Out of Control OR In Control! You can either React OR Respond IF YOU CHOOSE TO LEARN, FOLLOW THESE 3 STEPS: 1: take a moment to pause Your body wants to react, but you don't have to. Breathing will help your body slow down. Take a deep breath, count to 10. And then breathe out. Do it again! 2: remind yourself of the truth: You have a choice and CAN choose! You don't have to be controlled by your fear. Quiet your fear. Say "I can make a choice, and I'm choosing to learn." 3: Ask yourself powerful questions: Get Curious! Think about what information you can gather right now. Let Go of the Martyr Complex
This episode is all about "The Power of Support". Being a mom is a tough job. In the past, we didn't raise our children alone. There was a community around to offer support, guidance, and a breather when we needed it. Now when people ask for help, there is a complex of being weak or even a failure as a mom. But that just isn't true. There is actual power in admitting we need support and asking for it.   During this episode, I'm chatting with Chrissy Brennan, a sleep specialist. She guides parents of multiples in learning how to support their children to sleep. Chrissy finds that the greatest and lasting transformation occurs when parents embark on a journey of transformation themselves first. How to Stop Plowing Through the Holidays
This episode is all about "Pausing". During the holiday season, there is a lot to get done. We, as women, often take on a lot more responsibilities and as a result sometimes extra burdens and weights as well. Sometimes we can manage it all, but sometimes it becomes too much. And that can be detrimental to not only our ability to take care of others, but more so our own needs and wellbeing. Checking in with ourselves & pausing even for just a couple seconds can be a powerful tool to help us not stop plowing through the holidays and instead enjoy them. Grieving in the Holidays: Pregnancy Loss

We’ve been taught that Holidays are meant to be joyous, happy occasions that bring friends and family together. We are supposed to laugh, hug, and enjoy our time together. It’s a time to celebrate, be surrounded by those who you love, reminisce about the last year, and even toast to the year ahead. But what if that isn’t the case for you? Holidays can actually be a very difficult time for some people. This can be due to a death, a job loss, sickness, time restraints, being around those who engage in unhealthy habits, or strained relationships with your partner, extended family, friends, or children. I’m sure you could add more to the list. You might be wondering, “why are the holidays so difficult for me & how can I get through them?” If that is the case for you, I want to assure you I see you. I want to acknowledge that you may be feeling tired, overwhelmed, sad, and ready to just get through this time as fast as you can. That’s real and your experience. This is a woman who is able to stop reacting out of fear or insecurity and instead feel in control of herself and able to respond in a confident and healthy way. The way that you become your version of the Responsive woman is entirely up to you… I give you permission to discover ways that fit and support you. And often it is unique to you. I have seen success in women learning my approach. But there are also some that it doesn't work for. And that’s okay. But my approach isn’t the only one out there. So I bring in guest experts to share their approaches with you. Just like you are unique, each of these approaches is as well. Because I want you to discover an approach that works for you.
