Interview with true crime author Rannah Gray about her book Familiar Evil

Interview with true crime author Rannah Gray about her book Familiar Evil

Join us as we go inside Rannah Gray's true crime story about a child preditor named Scott Rogers. After Rogers trial in England ended in a hung jury, he flees with several in his entourage to the U.S. where they land in Baton Rouge. Rogers is a master minipulator, a sheep in wool's clothing as he goes about befriending the mayor, the chief of police, and he even starts a church, making himself the pastor in order to cover his crimes. During a business deal with Rannah's company, things go sour and Rogers ends up trying to slam Rannah's company in the press. When Rannah retaliates with a letter to the editor, a young man in the U.K. who'd been searching for Rogers for years finds the letter online, reaches Rannah through email and begins to share his story of abuse which finally lead to Roger's trial and having child services remove the two children from his home. A gripping book that helps us all understand better how these child preditors work to mask their crimes. Rannah's book tells how she worked deligently with lawyers and her source in the U.K. to bring Scott Rogers case to trial ultimately getting resoultion. Rannah's non-fiction, true crime book, Familiar Evil as well as her two children's mystery books; The Case of the Missing Poodle, and The Mystery of the Heart Shaped Locket, can be found on Amazon, bookstores in and around Baton Rouge, LA, and her website: www.rannahgray.com. Interview with L.M. Archer and the Take Me to Church 4-book series.

Interview with L.M. Archer and the Take Me to Church 4-book series.

The Take Me to Church series by L.M. Archer falls into the LGBTQ+ genre specifically, MM Romance. The stories explore some dark topics, some that might be triggering such as suicide, self-harm. The stories also involve religion, and homosexuality. Book one: Born in Sickness introduces the characters of Luka and Harlan. Luka has just moved into a small southern town and comes from a religious church-going family with a step father who is very rigid, harsh and cruel in his thinking and actions. On the first day at the new school, Luka meets Harlan, and finds him mysterious, interesting, and somewhat off-putting. Luka also finds himself very attracted to Harlan and even though, Harlan acts as if he doesn't want anything to do with Luka, the two boys develope a friendship which leads to Luka questioning his sexuality as well as his faith. The books are well written, almost poetic at times, even suspenseful. L.M. Archer's books are available through Amazon as well as her Etsy shop. Her social media accounts and website are: lmarcherbooks.
