Why The Mr. Beast Genre Feels Boring
Mr. Beast’s influence on different kinds of content on social media is apparent, but there is mounting criticism of this type of content being soulless, sanitized, boring, and stale. Videos such as “The Mr. Beastificiation of YouTube” and “Money killed YouTube, Here’s how we fix it” aptly describes this sentiment. Regardless, Mr. Beast’s view count and even the view count of his alleged copycats seem to counter this argument entirely. So called “boring content” doesn't get millions of views. So today, we explore if this critique holds any grounds or if it actually comes from a community of jealous YouTubers unable to compete in today’s money centric, social media landscape.
AI Art is The Future
Today I'd like to talk about my thoughts and feelings regarding artificial
intelligence and art. Lately it's been a hot bed of controversial topics in the
digital art space, it's almost just as controversial as the entity arts base, if
not a little more troubling but, I'm not here to give a lecture of what is AI art or
what is Stable Diffusion.
I'm gonna talk lightly about it but not too detailed about it because, this episode
is mostly focused on my thoughts and opinions. If you aren't familiar with what Stable
Diffusion is, it's this deep learning model where you can type a text prompt and it can
generate an image out of it whether that's visual photo, video or even art itself there's
multiple models that follow stable diffusion such as Mid Journey, Dall-e 2 and some
iPhone apps.
The Future Of AI is More Terrifying Than You Think
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming a bigger and bigger part of our lives
thanks to the rapid advancement of technology over the past few years.
While the recent progress has produced helpful technologies (such as ChatGPT),
the future of AI may quickly become something that is far more terrifying.
In this Upcoming Lounge Podcast episode I share my thoughts on where AI might
be heading, and why the future may be very different to what we imagine.
