Dani Faust: Mental Health Awareness
In this episode I’m talking to Dani Faust, of OK, Dani about Mental Health Awareness Month. Dani is hilarious. She’s ALSO a magnificent coach and mental health advocate.
First, you’ll hear lots of wheezing laughs as we reminisce on what our very genuine, but mostly Facebook-based friendship has been like over the years. Then we focus in on mental health: why self-care is more than just artisanal salads and how to ask for help. If you listen closely, you’ll hear the moment where Dani makes a point that literally gave me chills. As we wrap up, Dani talks more about why mental wellness is a top priority, not just for herself, but in how she engages with her online community. Then we get into some fun questions and Dani tells us what’s missing in the world today.
I hope you’ll pick up a few practical tips and coping strategies and that maybe laughing along with us is one of them. If you want to get in on the fun, I’d like to know what came up for you in this episode. If you have a thought you want to share, or a question: Leave a message! I’ll share it, with a response, in a future episode. One of these days, I may invite YOU to be my guest co-host. Bc I want this podcast to be yours as much as it is mine}

Mental Health Awareness Chat w/ Christina Martin
It’s MHAM and the National Alliance on Mental Illness has published the theme You ARE NOT ALONE. As we’ve all spent the last two months in social distancing and isolation, this Mental Health Awareness month felt more important than ever. Important enough for me to pull act together and record a series of casual conversations with some of my favorite folks and a few new faces that I’ll share throughout the month of May. I hope you’ll tune in because each of them has something very special to share.
In this episode, I talk with my real-life sister, Christina Martin.

Falling in Love With Your Self
I knew love would be on people’s minds in February, so I decided to shake things up a bit and talk about self-love. In this episode, I pose the question: What if we fell in love with ourselves the way we fall in love with other people?
