Am I actually Ben Affleck?
Yo! It’s been a while. In this episode I talk about what’s been happening the last couple months. I’ve been struggling to figure out if pieces of how I self-identify are actually weaknesses in need of reform or if they are, as I tend to believe, actually my superpowers. This episode doesn’t answer those questions but it’s at least a start.

To All The Haters Saying Don't Watch Game of Thrones
After watching the premier of GoT season 8, it hit me that lots of business gurus were going to start talking about how people shouldn't watch.  I had thoughts (obvi).

S3E4 - Featuring Kevin "The Soul Assassin" Ross and Marvin "The Mad Lion" Madariaga
Absolute legends in their own right, Kevin and Marvin, stop by to chat a bit about fighting and some of the differences between the old school fight mentality and the struggle of a fighter coming up now.  As per the usual, Wick the Bear makes a cameo appearance and I do my best to stay quiet and let them talk, although I don't do a GREAT job of that, but we have some good conversation. Enjoy.

S3E3 - Sure, but do YOU respect you?
More often than any of us is willing to admit, the reason we don't "get the respect we deserve" has nothing to do with anyone else.

S3E2 - The Truth Doesn't Really Matter
I think we talk too much about the "honorable pursuit of Truth". I don't think truth matters nearly as much as we tell ourselves it does. It does, however, give us a nice excuse to ignore our very real emotions by bottling them up until they inevitably explode, destroying most of what makes sense in life.

S3E1 - The Wife, The Mistress, and The Vice - Monday Morning Coffee #37
People (myself included most of all) often make the mistake of thinking that they are capable of handling anything that comes their way. The truth is, a person can really only juggle three things at once: The Wife, The Mistress, and The Vice. Read the full post here:

Season 2 Finale!
This episode is my favorite, because it's the first (well, second) time I've been able to fully verbalize my vision. I hope you see the connections from past episodes and how everything has come together! See you in season 3!!

S2E9 - Ride the Mean
In this episode I talk about trying to find a way to "anchor" (no pun intended) myself between emotional highs and lows to avoid the motivational black hole that keeps me from doing anything. Enjoy (and check out the YouTube vid:

S2E8 - "You are my son, and the one true king"
Happy Thanksgiving! In this episode, I deal a lot with discovering and then actively pursuing your true potential. Lots of Lion King references :)

S2E7 - Plans and positivity can't survive without action and time
In this episode, I get a little frustrated because things aren't moving as fast as I want. The cathartic high of a realization can lead to this kind of disappointment if you don't plan for it with ACTION.

S2E6 - Foreshadowing....
This episode is just chock full of foreshadowing. It's amazing to listen to how the ideas and thoughts I talk about in this episode find their way into the *finished* product.

S2E5 - Ohhhhh THAT'S what I've been doing wrong...
In this episode, I realize one of the major things that has held me back in both my personal and business life, and I make specific plans to avoid it in the future. Also, cigars :)

S2E4 - Talking with friends helps
In this episode, some things start to shift. A conversation with great friends and colleagues shifts my perspective, and a long weekend away gives me space to really think.

S2E3 - Does any of this matter?
In this episode I start to really doubt myself, my business, my ideas, and even whether this podcast idea is any good. It's a bit depressing, but I think there is value in relating to the low points.

S2E2 - How did I get here?
This episode is a wandering selection of stories from my past as I try to piece together why I'm in the situation I'm in. You can tell I'm trying to find a way to both rationalize my situation AND navigate my way out of it.

S2E1 - The business is in shambles
It's Ground Zero. Hitting one of the lowest points in my business that I've ever been at. I describe some of my personal financial problems, as well as some of the things that have led to the business being where it's at. This is the first few hours of realizing that my business was in huge trouble, and my emotional reaction to that realization.

Seaon 2 Preview
Season 2 is a slight departure from the norm of what you may have come to expect from this podcast. I'll be honest, I'm nervous to release it, but I think you'll find it either beneficial or educational.
