But her path took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease. Discover how Melissa navigated this new reality, becoming a member and then a coach in a Hashimoto's support group.
Learn about her inspiring process of retraining her body to handle the stress of working out and CrossFit, and her determination to compete in her first CrossFit competition since her diagnosis.

Ep 99: Real Patient Examples from our Tideline Clinic
On today’s episode Dr. Michael shares 2 real patient cases that came to our clinic here at Tideline Sports Performance.
One case involves a soccer player who was grossly misdiagnosed with shin splints by 2 different providers before being correctly diagnosed with a stress fracture.
In the second case he discusses a chronic hamstring strain with sciatic nerve entrapment, leading to long term tightness, pain, and weakness.
Tune in as Dr. Michael breaks down each case, discusses the true origin of these patients’ pain, and describes how each patient was treated.

Ep. 96 Dollie Mulholland, Tideline Client & Bodybuilding Competitor
In this episode Brandon sits down with his client, Dollie Mullholland, to chat about her experience working with Tideline.
Dollie came to us for our Sports Physical Therapy services after dealing with severe knee pain for a number of years. After recovering from her injury by working with Dr. Michael, Dollie was ready to start training again!
This is when she hired Brandon, our Performance Coach, to help her prep for a bodybuilding show and get back to training and feeling good!
Dollie is a hard worker, singer, bodybuilding competitor, mother, and fiancé. She does it all and we chat about all things life and fitness!

Ep 94: Myth Busting using Real Patient Examples (9/5/2023)
On today’s episode Dr. Michael debunks a couple healthcare myths and misconceptions using examples of real patients seeking help from us at Tideline:
Can you get low back muscle spasms because your upper neck is slightly rotated?
Can your hip/pelvis really go out and would that be causing a pinch in the front of your hip?
Tune in as he goes breaks down some of these misconceptions, discusses the true origin of these patients’ pain, and describes how each patient was treated.

Meghan has been a rising star member at Crossfit Bradenton who constantly challenges herself and was even able to qualify in the top 10% after 1 year of crossfit. She also shares her recovery after wrist surgery, which helped inspire her to become a crossfit coach.

Today’s episode features Kelly Mack, owner/founder of Mack Fitness 305.
She chats with Dr. Michael about how her first career was in corporate recreation, working across the country as a surf instructor, on a snorkel boat, and finally as a kayak guide in Key West for 14 years.
Like Dr. Michael she played rugby, where a teammate had initially introduced her to the gym world and she later signed up for a program called the Fighter Diet.
She then transitioned from the party scene in Key West to a more fitness focused lifestyle that eventually led to her booming career as a personal trainer - using the old school Instagram algorithm in 2014 to build brand awareness!
Kelly uses a very cerebral and scientific approach to her clients’ nutrition and workout programming and her passion for learning as she trains clients at the Vault and Circle the Sun!
