"God's Greeting" | 1 Peter 5:10-14
The First Letter of Peter Living as Exiles in His Marvelous Light Jesus calls us to a unique perspective on life here and now and after this life. He asks his followers to see themselves as sojourning exiles. God’s people, from Israel to the early church, are not strangers to this life perspective. Jesus himself declared that his home and kingdom are not of the present history and world. But an exile is often uncomfortably living in counter-culture. Thankfully, the Spirit has left us the first letter of the apostle Peter. He teaches us to live this present life as spiritual exiles by faith--for and toward Christ--even as we long for our final, perfect and eternal home. Join us as a fellow sojourner as we journey through the first letter of Peter! Speaker: Albert Chung
