How Content Marketing Differs from Copywriting
Today, I discuss the difference between content marketing and copywriting as well as how both can be leveraged to ensure that both short term and long-term marketing goals are met. The fundamental difference of both styles is the fact that with copywriting you need to get sales as fast as possible, whereas with content marketing you need to build trust that would make other people want to do business with you for the long term and refer you to other people. It's OK to Fail
It's OK to fail because we have all failed at one point or the other. No one has been an utter success in all areas of their lives. Just like success, failure is an indicator, a guide to help you map out and strategize on what works and what doesn't. If all you knew and understood are the things that work, how would one know the things that don't work as well as how to handle them when eventually they decide not to work It's often best to understand that to achieve or get as close to a balanced life as possible, one must be able to understand how sucess and failure work as well as be able to understand how to react to each scenario. Failure most times, come with even more lessons than success and are the perfect tools, coupled with understanding how to optimize them that could help one achieve their goal in life. The components for ensuring deadlines are met include: understanding the tasks at hand understanding the capabilities or you and your team having a clear understanding of available time With all these components, one can always estimate a perfect and a worst-case scenario. Also, communication is particularly important in case of changes to the deadline structure. One of the ways to manage deadlines is to manage tasks using task management platforms like Trello, Asana, Monday, Airtable among others.  You should be able to set deadlines that are between the most probable date as well as the worst-case scenario. Choosing a date in-between will always put you in a good spot and help you finish off most task before their due dates. You need to properly weigh the promptness or urgency of tasks to make sure you are knocking off the most important ones off the list first. The Effects of Energy Drinks
Energy drinks are growing in popularity for people all around the world and it's mostly because they help us keep going even when our body doesn't feel like it. From the little homework I did, I realized that the key ingredients for Energy drinks are Sugar and Caffeine. This makes the side effects of Energy drinks more predictable. They included, weight gain, nervousness, anxiety, among others. For their benefits, we get the energy pump we need as soon as we drink them. To a significant extent, we need to balance energy drinks intake at least if we don't plan to ditch them. For one, most drinks that contain caffeine are not things we should depend on because the more we drink, the more tolerance we build and the more caffeine we need to do the stuff we need it to do. I personally am getting to the point where I need about 0.8l of energy drink to be at my optimum while when I started about two months ago, I needed just 0.2l to stay sharp. For me though, the switch to malt-based energy drink made me want more because of the amazing taste. But here's the deal, I am on my way to do more homework and decide what's best for me to eat/drink to maintain a well-balanced lifestyle without needing to resort to energy drinks and lower my stress levels. For now, I have increased my intake of water while still taking daily multivitamins recommended by my pharmacist to help lower effects of stress. How to Manage Work from Home Burnout
Truth be told, working from home can be more demanding than working from an office. This is because working from home can blur the line between work and life. For one, it can be more mentally demanding as you must play the duo task of manager and staff depending on what needs to be done and what skillsets need to be used. DISCLAIMER: I am not an expert on the matter of stress. I'm ranting about the subject. I would say, the most important thing we need to ensure we don't get WFH Burnout is to prioritize rest. I say this because burnout comes from overly exerting oneself and the most natural thing to do is the exact opposite of overly exerting oneself and this translates to rest. Some of the ways we overly exert ourselves is with trying to get everything done and not having the time to delegate work or home tasks to other people. Another thing that gets us stressed out is spending days and sometimes weeks indoors without really going out. A quick visit to the grocery store doesn't count as going out. It's an errand and that also translates to work. I have read a couple of times about how we need to move around and not limit ourselves to one space. Personally, I and my wife talked about taking a day off each week. This is time we use to switch off every work or errand and we are not doing anything work. A lot of WFH professionals never really get to take a vacation mostly because we don't see ourselves as assets. I am an asset to myself. You are an asset to yourself, and you owe it to yourself to have some fun. Go out there and unwind from every form of work and refresh your mental health. Graphic Design Cloud Apps that Make Graphics Work Easier
In this episode, I will share some DIY Graphic design cloud apps that make graphic work easier. Canva is the most popular drag-and-drop design tool out there It has templates that cover just about every design need you will have with lots of free assets that will allow your work to be done in such a short time However, chances are people can tell a Canva Graphic a mile away and as such if you are trying to show off uniqueness, I will ask you to stay away from Canva except, of course, you are building your own template from the scratch. Crello is a much more visually appealing DIY design tool and was created by the people at deposit photos. It looks similar to Canva but has templates that look more professional and are less popular than what you will find on Canva. A higher percentage of their design templates are illustration-based instead of photo-based and this sets them apart from the pack Apparently, if you are using Crello pro, you have access to loads of images from deposit photos. Adobe Spark is the alternative from Adobe that does also what Canva does, however, their library of designs can be confusing as most times I am unable to filter designs by a particular size. Spark is definitely easy to use and this has toned down the ability to have more control over your design. If you are looking for creative freedom, Spark is not the tool for you and we can't blame Adobe, the pros have other tools to choose from in their arsenal and Spark is just a toy for the newbies to play with. While I have not used Easil ever, I have heard and read great reviews about this app that suggests that it actually is worth looking into.  Easil templates have the canva feel to them but are also professional-looking. They have a decent tool that helps with background removal from photos as well as branding assets that help your design to always be within the assets that are approved for the brand in terms of color, fonts, and logo variations. As a Canva user, Easil is the easiest platform to transit to. Stencil is by far the easiest tool to use to generate quotes. There's a huge library for quotes and they have over 1.5 million royalty-free stock photos in their library and is the only platform that has massive integration with Google web fonts.  Stencil is however very limited if you will not be paying $12 (or 20) a month because the free version allows you to export just 10 images a month while the $9 (or 15) plan gives you access to just 50 exports a month. If you are not willing to go unlimited, don't walk the Stencil path but if you ask me, I believe the unlimited plan is worth it and I will recommend paying yearly. Snappa's website looks like a slightly modified copy of Stencil however, Sujan Patel seems to love it and gave them an outstanding recommendation. It has a good background remover, allows you just three exports a month if you are using the free plan. I typically love their YouTube end screen arts as well as their Advertising templates. They also curated awesome zoom virtual background images that are absolutely beautiful. Due to the quality of templates here, I see no reason why you shouldn't pay for what you get.

I talked about how to prevent hacks by ensuring that use a really solid antivirus that has a robust set of features. I also talked about using a good password manager and also some best practices for link clicking.
