Singer Songwriter Jackie Lipson on the power of your voice, the creative process and Lizzo! đľđ
After appearing on UniversalNBCâs The Voice, Jackie fearlessly packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles, not knowing anyone who lived there. A coincidental meeting introduced her to Vanessa Wheeler, artist and guitarist professionally named VAVĂ and bassist/producer Francisco Ojeda, leading to an explosive debut single in 2020 âSomedayâ. âSomedayâ speaks to the generation of lost millennials who are really, really just trying their best and landed on Spotifyâs Fresh Finds, New Music Friday Denmark, Music for a Workday, Billboard, Audemars Piguetâs and Chani Nicholasâ Cosmic playlists. Billboard called âSomedayâ a âsoothing, lush slice of dream popâ.

Letâs laugh and drink w/comedians Theresa Moriarty and Jackie Gold
Theresa Moriarty is a NYC based actress and comedian. She started her career modeling and in commercial gigs at just 8 years old! One of her first gigs was on Saturday Night Live as a kid, and sheâs been performing since. After graduating from Manhattan College, Theresa went on to study acting with Susan Batson and began working in TV, Film and Voiceover. Youâve heard her as the voice of Macyâs, Downy, Ulta Beauty and countless other commercials. In 2018 Theresa started performing stand up all over NYC and you can find her at the cityâs hottest clubs and on Instagram (@tmolynn) slinging jokes. Currently, catch Theresa live on stage, Wednesdays at Route 66 Comedy Club in New York City or as Tina in Made in Chinatown, streaming on Amazon Prime! Make sure to follow on Instagram and TikTok for show announcements.
When sheâs not working, Theresa loves to cook, read, style clothes and hang out with her husband, daughter and âsweetâ Pomeranian.
Jackie Gold was raised on the tough middle-class Jewish streets of
Brooklyn, NY. Growing up in a conservative- Jewish home meant
having to develop a sharp tongue and a quick sense of humor. Her
humor is brutally honest, as she has a way of putting into words that
thought youâve been thinking; but have been too afraid to say.
Jackieâs comedy album âMaximum Occupancyâ debuted at #1 on
Amazon and iTunes. She has been a writer for CBS, Comedy Central
and VH1.

Boy Bands & Rolling Stone w/ Senior Writer @Ohheybrittany
Brittany Spanos is a senior writer at @RollingStone and wow, she is living the dream. She has interviewed pop culture stars like JoJo, Hayley Williams, and Katy Perry--which makes our teenage selves scream. She has written many of the iconic cover stories for the magazine including one on Janelle Monae, Cardi B, and Lizzo. Recently on Rolling Stoneâs Podcast âMusic Now,â she joined with Rob Sheffield and the podcast host, Brian Hiatt, to discuss all the factors that led to the Beatles breaking up (apparently it was not all Yoko Onoâs fault, according to the podcast). Brittany recently wrote an article concerning black and POC pop stansâ struggle to be seen. She writes, âFor decades, the overwhelming cultural image of what a fan of pop music looks like has remained the screaming white teen girl, an image based almost entirely on the de facto segregation of the early days of rock & roll.â Tune in while Cece and Ryan chat with the boyband aficionado, Twitter guru, and pop culture goddess, Brittany Spanos.
