"This is real life."
I had a unique mission experience being a volunteer. There was a lot of uncertainty but the Lord provided. A lesson I learned from Elder Holland has stuck with ever since.
Mission Report Presents: A Mission Story - Elder Holland In Russia
But today I wanted to take just a few minutes and try something new, an idea I have been batting around of just sharing a short mission story. So for a trial run, here is one of my mission stories. Elder Jeffery R. Holland visited the Saratov Stake and gave them an admonition. Just a couple of weeks ago, it came true. Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Patrick Gee - Moscow Russia
"Up to this point, it was the finest hour."
Patrick Gee just got back from serving in the Moscow Russia mission. We talked about the language, what the big cities of Russia are like and what the smaller cities are like, what serving during the pandemic was like, and Patrick has a cool experience to share.

"I feel like my mission was setting the foundation." Hirone Warner served in both Tokyo North, Japan, and Scottsdale Arizona due to the Covid 19 pandemic. We are going to talk about those transitions for him, and what the best and hardest parts of missionary work were.
Jaxon Burke - Detroit Michigan
"I just remember the peace that I felt at that moment."
Jaxon Burke served in the Detroit Michigan Mission, but a little ways into his mission he came home to work some things out. We talked about his coming home, what he went through while he was home, how he got back out, and how he has used his experience to help others. Jaxon’s openness as we talked was inspiring, and I hope as you listen that you can be uplifted and also gain a little bit more compassion, maybe for yourself, or maybe for others. In the end, Jaxon was able to have an amazing mission experience.
Jaxon has also offered to speak with anyone who would like to reach out to him to talk. His email is jaxon.burke58@gmail.com
