UKMSA hosts ‘The Parliament Shed’ in Westminster.
On March 18-22 2024 UK Men's Sheds built a pop-up Men’s Shed at Portcullis House in the Palace of Westminster estate to raise awareness of men’s wellbeing and the Men’s Shed movement.
‘The Parliament Shed’ was custom-built with the help of Black Park Shed near Slough, with signage to highlight the health, wellbeing, and social benefits of community-run Men’s Sheds and the key areas where Sheds make an impact

UK Men's Sheds Association held our first face-to-face Shed Festival since the lockdown at the University of Worcester Arena on Saturday June 25th. We were delighted to have as our Key Note speaker Sir David Spiegelhalther.
Memory Shed for men and women living with dementia
Rod Veazy of Memory Shed talks about the work his Shed are involved with adapting their environment to work for those dealing with various mental health challenges.
The Memory Shed meets on Wednesdays 2pm-3.30pm and is for men and women living with dementia who like making things and working with tools. The friendly, sociable meetings allow people to work on practical projects supported by trained volunteers.
The group is a partnership between Alzheimer's Support and the Brunel Shed and meets weekly at Potley and Pockeridge Community Centre. We take a break in the winter when the weather is cold.
EventCycle: Rehoming, Repurposing and Redistributing Resources to Charities
We chat with Eventcycle, who specialise rehoming event resources no longer needed, from carpets and chairs, to more unique items. We talk about how Sheds can sign up and benefit for free.
