Samuel Moel Slutzky talks about his time as a coach both in Mexico and England and how therapy helped him through the stressful times, highlighting that you don't need to be in the midst of a crisis to seek help through therapy. University sports play a big role in the social side of studying at university and this has been a vital factor in making their university experience a supportive and inclusive environment. This may be the most wholesome episode we've ever recorded! This is the final episode of this series and Jess spoke to Senior Lecturer Becky Edwards and one of her students Darren on their experiences of the Bridging Course at the University of Chichester. Becky started the initiative with local homeless charity Stonepillow to give those with an experience of homelessness a second chance at education and the opportunity to move into Higher Education. Becky has since expanded the project to care leavers and asylum seekers 💙 Series 3 is all about minority groups. It's University Mental Health Day! For this weeks episode, 3rd year Liv is joined by Psychology students Beckie and Neel. Liv, Beckie and Neel are student mental health ambassadors for the university. In this episode they cover their personal struggles at university, how they have use the mental health services throughout their degree and advice for any other students struggling with their mental health. 

Starting University at an older age can be daunting. Whether you're applying after a gap year, want a change in career or are raising a family - you'll find lots of students in the same boat as you at Chichester! This week's guest is Rob who is a third year BSc (Hons) Politics student, has a 3 year old daughter and started University at 31. He talks about his student experience, why he decided to go to university later in life and his advice for others in his position. 

Degree apprenticeships are the best of both world's, you work full-time and receive a salary whilst studying for a degree that is paid for... winning! Apprenticeships are for anyone who is looking to jumpstart their career or progress to the next level in their current employment. Jess speaks to two degree apprentices, Georgia and Siân. Georgia is the Business Development Manager of her family-run business Pinks Vintage, a local business that has grown into an ice cream empire on the sunny Bognor Regis seafront with Georgia's help. Siân went straight from college to work in the digital marketing team at the University of Chichester. 

Student hosts Jess and Liv are back on another episode with guest and Acting For Film student Imogen! This episode covers what the current student experience is like during COVID-19.
