Episode 24 - Establish Your Goals
One of the things that we need to understand to achieve our dreams and goals is to find where our core values fall. In this episode, Alexis and Mehreen talk about Establishing Your Core Values. When we don't pin them down, and fail to honor them, our mental, emotional, and physical states suffer. This is the consequence of not behaving in alignment with what is true for us.
So what are your core values? What do you stand for? This can be different for different people. Some of these values could be family, freedom, security, loyalty, intelligence, connection, creativity, and humanity.
Many people struggle with finding their purpose. They battle with clarity in what it is that they want to be doing with their lives. Are you one of them?

Episode 23 - It's time to change your life
It's time to change your life. In this episode, Alexis and Mehreen sit down and talk about the commitment to become a better version of ourselves—to create a better future, not only our own, but especially for our family. What does that look like? What do you need to know to make changes that change your life for the better? How do we get started and move forward quicker with making these changes?
One indication that you know it's time to change your life is confusion. Confusion about where you are and where you want to go in life. Feeling as though your efforts are not yeinding the results you want and you don’t know what else to do. Gaining clarity is the foundation to building the life you want.
If you're not clear on what and who your identity is, you won't be clear on what direction you want and need to go in. If you haven’t gone in-depth with your vision, then you haven’t even begun.

Episode 22 - Fear of Commitment
This episode is all about a topic that applies to many areas in our lives—whether it's in relationships, both personal and professional, business risks, or just making the correct change for a healthy lifestyle—we can all relate to it. This episode's topic is all about the fear of commitment. What does it look like, and how can we overcome it? How can we finally start taking action?
One of the most significant drawbacks or challenges about the fear of commitment is that it keeps us where we are—stagnant and small. It stops us from taking the action that we need to grow, develop and reach new levels in our life.

Episode 21 - To Win, You Must Fail
Did you know that you can leverage failure to take yourself to the next level? In this episode, Alexis and Mehreen talk about how we put so much meaning into the world fail or failure. Although it often holds us back, ultimately, we can use it to win. You may feel as though the world is holding you back from taking action or from doing something that you want to do but what if failure could be leveraged?
What does it mean for you to fail? Does it mean you're not worthy? Does it mean you're incapable? Does it mean that you're not strong enough? You might be surprised that it doesn't mean any of those things.

Episode 20 - How Growth Mindset Leads to Success
In this episode, Alexis and Mehreen talk about how mindset leads to success—precisely, a growth mindset. What does that look like for someone who is in leadership? Where could people get stuck with the fixed mindset, and how can they get out of it?
Starting with motivation, Alexis begins the episode by saying that sometimes inspiration is challenging. Just starting something new—whether that is a project or just daily tasks—motivation can be tough to summon up. But when you have a growth mindset—meaning you are open to recognizing that there is potential in anything you do—then there is opportunity there.

Episode 19 - Personality Nurture or Nature
In this episode, Alexis and Mehreen sit down to sort out the age-old debate: nature versus nurture. They’re going to expand into human traits and general characteristics and how they are formed. What is the difference between a growth and a fixed mindset?
One of the schools of thought regarding personality is that it's considerably associated with a person's intelligence and emotional quotient. There are specific characteristics that we are born with—it's just who we are. Or perhaps these characteristics were shaped by our very early experiences? What if we just carry them through, and they develop into our adult tendencies and personalities?

Episode 18 - Get Out of Your Comfort Zone
Sometimes, it can be tempting to stay inside a space where we control, and nothing surprises us anymore. It feels warm and cozy, and sometimes, you need that. But this can also be a terrible tendency that can trap us in a place where there is no growth. In this episode, Alexis and Mehreen talk about the comfort zone. What is it?
Sometimes, the comfort zone is a place you retreat to in tough seasons, where there are extenuating circumstances that occur, and you need to recharge or feel good before taking something new on. But if you want to grow and do things you've never done before—whether it be starting a new business, a new career, or starting a new relationship—then getting out of your comfort zone should be the first step.
Have you ever gotten stuck before? How long are you supposed to stay in the comfort zone before your move on?

Episode 17 - Intentional Communication
In this episode, Alexis and Mehreen talk about what differentiates a good leader from a great one—they dive deep into what makes not only a great leader but great friends.
Join them for a talk about intentional communication and what experience you want to create in every conversation.
It all comes down to having clarity and shifting your mindset. The core foundation to anything—whether it's your communication with colleagues, friends, and family, and whether it's online or in-person—you want to make sure that you've got that clear mindset and what it is that you're bringing into the conversation. When there's no connection, you're only coming from the point of view focused on what you're dealing with and what needs to be done.
Think about the times you were intentional about the experiences that you created and take a few minutes to re-examine.
What do you want the other party to feel? How do you want to end the conversation, and what do you need to do to get it there?
We challenge you to think about what you're going to say and what you want to create at that moment with the people you talk to. Come from the point of how it's going to affect them. Make that connection.

What is it in the first place?
An interesting fact is that almost 70% of people have felt the effects of Imposter Syndrome at some point in their life. Listen to Mehreen and Alexis as they dive deep into the subject.
Accordingly, the Imposter Syndrome is that feeling of undervaluing your accomplishments or that everything you've achieved so far is because you were simply lucky enough for certain things. Episode 15 - Taking Back Control of Your Energy
Energy means a whole host of different things. It's physical, emotional, and mental, and their various kinds. In this episode, Alexis and Mehreen talk about how you control the energy you are bringing into the world—and how you can generate any energy you choose. Not only that, but you are responsible for it, too.
Alexis and Mehreen dive deep into what energy is all about and how you can take control of it. Energy is very contagious, right? We've all had that experience where maybe we're up, or we’re down, and somebody comes and shifts our energy, either in a good or bad way. You have to understand that creating boundaries and practicing a couple of simple exercises will have you generate and maintain the energy you want for yourself.
How do you go from one activity to another, reset and recharge, and make sure you have the right energy? How do you become intentional about who, what, and when to bring what point you want to take? Episode 14 - The Right Mindset to Begin 2021
How do you have that right mindset, and what is it that you won’t leave behind and then take forward going into 2021? This episode’s topic is where Alexis and Mehreen talk about the right mindset to begin 2021.
Mindset is the foundation that you need to start before pursuing any goal or building anything significant. It's the way we think and the way we organize and audit our thoughts. It really shows when something happens, and we struggle, then we get knocked off of our balance. You can tell somebody's mindset by the time it takes for them to get back on track, regroup, refocus and keep moving forward.
Imagine a house with a subpar foundation. Anything you build on top of it will eventually come tumbling and crumbling down. How quickly can you bounce back from things and pivot? How fast can you turn? It takes the right mindset!

Episode 13 - Visualizing Your Goals for 2021
In this episode, Mehreen and Alexis talk about the importance of visualizing your goals for 2021. The key is to set intentions knowing that you are limitless. But the question remains the same, why is it so crucial for you to visualize your goals?
Visualization is a great but overlooked tool. It means visualizing what you want to happen, and it can apply to many different areas. Visualization is priming the brain for the actions to come. It can motivate you to continue pushing forward even when you're not motivated at all or you do not see results.
What are your goals for 2021? Have you started visualizing them? Can you see yourself achieving your dreams and ambitions this year? We challenge you to think with intention and purpose. Don't leave your goals in a confused state. Instead, focus on how you want to show up and the impression you leave on people.
