Finding housing off-campus with Maya Lubell
In this episode, we meet with Maya, a UVic student in her last year of undergrad. She talks about her experience trying to find off-campus housing in Victoria. She discusses the various things on her checklist she wanted in her living arrangment, as well as how that checklist has changed over the years. She also talks about the safety challanges she has faced as a female finding housing.
The journey of getting into medical school with UBC medical students
In this episode, we talk with Shan and Anika about their individual journies getting admitted into UBC medical school. As first and second year medical students, they discuss various aspects of the journey such as the extra-curriculars they chose to pursue in undergrad, taking the MCAT, and the reality of how they percieve medical school now. They also give some great advice for self-care and mindsets when entering medical school.
