In this episode we discuss with Zac, individuality, what it means to him, the influence of social media, the barriers to expressing yourself and strategies to express your individuality. This topic is a prominent theme in his book, expressed through his true story of delicately revealing the boy that he was forced to bury.
Zac’s book is raw and raunchy, provides insights into sexuality uncertainty, parental divorce, mental health battles, religious freedom, marriage equality, coming of age, sexual assault, and young love that is forbidden to shine. All must be navigated to unlearn who he was taught to be, and embark on the terrifying journey to discover who he authentically is.
