Shed Session 32: Mount St. Helen
The music is otherworldly and the lyrics are lovingly carried by Aris' dreamy voice and the ethereal sounds of the pair's Stratocasters.
We are gently guided into the story of a band with a bigger picture as they seamlessly glide above the great expanses of the Pacific Northwest dusting the top of the volcanic Mount St. Helens as we swoop past.
There's talk of old heroes, frog faces, second hand guitar treasures, making music videos and the most extraordinary music extending its velvety condor wings wide, gathering us all together. Thank you for listening.

Joely June: Bullingdon Cocktail Bar Shed Session
"Thanks for a lovely evening my man and well done on a great show. It was particularly powerful for me to see how everyone was sitting quietly and attentively listening - like audiences would do in the Greenwich village coffee houses in the 60s. Put everyone in a reflective and receptive mood. Quite a gift to bring stillness and focus to people as well as music so well done you 🙏🏻"
Shed Session 29: ERIKA
This is a stunning performance and the conversation is filled with honesty, love and curiosity.
A wonderful last episode of 2023. Thank you for listening.

Ian and Warren talk Shed Sessions
Ian and Warren realised that they haven’t had a chat in a while because they’re always busy doing Shed Sessions with bands. So they got together and enjoyed a much needed conversation about supermarkets, music, our favourite Shed Sessions moments, “What’s in My Bag” recommendations and of course the weather. You can listen to their reflections in the new bonus podcast episode via the link in the bio. Thank you all for your support, it enriches local music.
Shed Session 25: Crandle
Pick up a pair of Snakeskin Cowboy boots from the Trading Post store. Jump into a dusty faded blue 50s Chevy truck and take a long cruise through the California deserts. Drive along the lonely highway and stop in at a motel with a swimming pool, palm trees and scorpions. There's a band playing out back. The hot wind picks up and swirls dirt around Sarah's keyboard as the notes skate along the mirage beyond the palms. Matt's tremolo shifts and bends time as the crows nod casually from their perch on the frayed power lines above. This is the landscape painted by the brilliant Crandle. Sarah's voice is dreamy and Matt's guitar captures a time gone by. Their creative union makes for a beautiful session. Ian has captured the purest of sounds for you to enjoy on your very own magical journey. "These are the days of miracle and wonder; This is the long distance call" (Paul Simon, the boy in the bubble). Thank you for listening. You can discover more music and news from Crandle here: https://crandlefly.bandcamp.com and on Instagram: @crandle.maybe ; photos from the session are on Instagram: @shedtreasures

These are the conversations recorded on day one of two at the Riverside Festival, Charlbury, Oxford. Warren chatted with bands following their performances on the main stage and has brought along his enthusiasm, curiosity and love of music. The exchanges are honest, interesting and fun. The Flaming Keys: Unplugged at The White House (part 2)
Tiger Mendoza: Unplugged at The White House (part 1)
This is the first of two acts performed and recorded in The White House pub in Oxford, live with an audience. Tiger Mendoza (musician, producer and beat maker) along with Dan Clear on guitar share a stunning acoustic set with us. They are joined on stage by special guests, Mila Todd, Octavia Freud and Emma Hunter. The music leads Warren into his safe place. From the warm golden savannah, he reaches out with storytelling and conversation while the audience helps shape this beautiful session with their lovely presence and appreciation. Part 2 with The Flaming Keys is coming soon. Thank you for listening. You can find out more about Tiger Mendoza at https://www.tigermendoza.co.uk/ and photos of the session are available on Instagram: @shedtreasures
Shed Session 15: Emma Hunter
The full moon, early spring, snow storms and International Women's Day 2023 have aligned for Emma Hunter. The exceptional duo that is Emma Hunter and Tom Bruce are tuned in to their surroundings and each other's creative flow like no other. The cinematic soundscapes are painted with stunning vocals, mesmerising loops, percussive drumming, intriguing narrative and inspired chat. Warren and his guests feel the warm creative glow inside the shed like they are in a cave overlooking a dark cold ocean, the light from calming yellow flames flickering against the ancient rock walls and sacred music calling out to the watery expanse beyond. Thank you for listening.

Thank you for listening.
Shed Session 12: James Walker
Warren is joined in the Shed by James Walker: artist, singer, songwriter and producer. It is the day after the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the sun is setting on the frozen Thames Valley. The birdsong heralds in the nightfall and James infuses the space with his beautifully crafted songs. Warren is in awe and makes the most of his wonderful and gracious guest who is sitting behind the piano, relaxed and ready for a truly magnificent performance. This episode is the perfect vessel to glide from Christmas and into the New Year. Thank you for listening. Photos of the Shed Sessions can be found here: @shedtreasures. Shed Session 11: Octavia Freud
Shed Session 10: Slaven
Warren beams Slaven into the Shed via an internet call and they build a virtual bridge between Austria and England with the most incredible guitar music. Slaven is a musician and composer and he can shred the electric guitar like no other. We learn about his classical training and can hear how it weaves through his guitar playing. Slaven is a massive groove metal fan and Warren embraces yet another musical genre as the pair are united through the appreciation of Pantera, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Guns 'N Roses and much more. Slaven generously plays his guitar for us and we can sit back as the power of the music infuses our very souls. Slaven has a new EP coming out soon and you can explore further via Instagram: @st1.9.8.4
Thank you for listening.
Shed Session Nine: Dream Phone
Hannah and Jenny are Dream Phone and they join Warren in the shed for this dreamy Shed Session. It's electronica bliss and we find out about the band's dream phones as well as their inspirations and writing ideas. It's really smart, fun and interesting and once again the Shed Session showcases the best of the bands that enter into this magical setting. Alex has taken some super photos of the session and these can be found here: @shedtreasures. You can find out more about Dream Phone here: @wearedreamphone and https://linktr.ee/wearedreamphone
Thank you for listening!
Shed Session Eight: Montmorency
Andy Roughton on vocals and rhythm guitar, Stuart Homer on lead guitar, Steve Kendall on double-bass, and Teresa Hembrey-Hatton on percussion. They play their upbeat folk-rock infused blend of music from the sanctuary at the end of Warren's garden and fill the chilly autumn air with sounds that will get you moving.

Shed Session Seven: Mila Todd
As the Autumn approaches and the nights draw in, we are treated to another extraordinary Shed Session. This time it's with the extremely talented singer songwriter, Mila Todd. We are delighted with an otherworldly selection of songs. The conversation carries us into each dreamlike track. From there, Mila's voice and very special acoustic guitar guide us along West Oxford's mysterious marshy meadows as our host Warren cries tears of joy. This episode is full of the sounds of nature and wonder. You can find more of Mila Todd's music and related info on Bandcamp and social media: https://milatodd1.bandcamp.com and https://www.instagram.com/todd.mila/?hl=en
Thank you for listening.
Shed Session Six: Spank Hair
Warren gets to host a Shed Session with one of his favourite bands and he couldn't feel happier. Spank Hair play a sublime acoustic set in the shed and graciously take us through their experience of being in a band with their friends and doing what they love. The music speaks for itself and I can happily say that Warren isn't the only one who has a very good feeling about this creative force generously casting their musical spells across their hometown of Oxford and beyond. The shed once again sets the scene for a most beautiful evening of sound and conversation. You can find out more about Spank Hair on the social media channels (@spankhairband and https://www.facebook.com/spankhair) and on Bandcamp - https://spankhair.bandcamp.com. Also, photos from the session can be viewed here (https://www.instagram.com/shedtreasures/?hl=en). Thank you for listening.

Beavis and Butthead
Video Games
Hear Warren, Matt and Pete discuss video games and their first consoles from their childhoods in the 1980s Britain and South Africa. Warren has a fear of embarking into the gaming world, whereas Matt and Pete are seasoned gamers. The conversation is interesting, lighthearted and fun and by the end, Warren is ready to take the leap into virtual reality. Thank you for listening.
Snoopy
Warren chats with Jan about her love for Peanuts and her favourite character, Snoopy. It's a lovely learning journey for them both but especially for Warren who knew very little about Peanuts before this episode. Jan shares her discovery of the delightful beagle during the 1980s and graciously reminisces about a very special time, all from the shed at the end of Warren's garden.
Island Style Sticker
Bouncy Balls
Its amazing how Warren explores the most simple object and is able to elicit stories, memories and places from it. Each item carries with it a tale and significance much greater than the object itself. Enjoy a guided stroll/bounce along with the simplest toy of all. The storytelling is so calm and carefully considered. You'll feel free and ready to explore the things around your dwelling to tap into the magic within. Thank you for listening.
Record Store Day 2022
Breaking Bad Fleetwood Bounder
This is the episode where Warren shares his Breaking Bad and car stories with us. What makes it even better is that he is joined by Jo at the kitchen table in front of the snazzy new recording encoder unit something something. It is here that together they take us on a road trip across the deserts of the American west and into the concrete and steel jungles of New York. The podcast is once again my portal into another realm and brings me out feeling refreshed. Another great episode. Thank you for listening.
Scott from the Scott Gordon Band
Smurfs (and other stories)
Warren is in Germany talking about his Smurf toys. As usual, he allows himself to be transported away with the objects he has brought along and he generously takes us with him. There's some crazy coincidences as he discovers that he is standing in the very place where Nirvana played their last ever show! The podcast keeps on growing and Warren stays true to the art of storytelling to deliver the most relaxing and entertaining chat I have heard in ages.
