We’re back! Gem has (literally) been round the world and she’s back with stories and OPINIONS. Revz had a frenetic break. But now it’s time for breakthroughs! So; doing the Harry & Meghan thing we’re going to get into the very fashionable “word of the year” concept. Gem failed so hard with hers last year, which Revz points out without any holds barred. But what should this year be? Gem has great ideas for Revz but will she take on Revz’s ideas for her? Gem wants to be even harder on herself than usual and Revz wants to let it all go. **Ok - something weird happens with the sound at the 29 minute mark** WE’RE SORRY - we have tried to fix it. We say “get f*cked” many times. Then Revz doesn’t have time for her teenage baby boy. Everyday is an emotional roulette and she has no idea how to parent a boy like this. And Gem is struggling with her son actually (finally) growing up too. Gem is looking snatched, like it looks like she’s actually slept and we all know she hasn’t. And she’s off on holidays, and has a lot of feels about it, including a mental reframe on her new parenting responsibilities. Then we get into the importance of missing your partner and how we’ve missed missing our most important people, thanks to COVID and lockdowns. Gem doesn’t have time for the shame around the Coles sex toys and it’s got us wondering if there is really still shame around self-pleasure? And if we ourselves are really the shame-free, sex-positive girls we want to be. Revz is hot under the collar about the mysogeny around this topic and the thought experiments are flying. Then, it’s Revz’ birthday this week and for once she’s taking charge of it. It’s scheduled within an inch of its life for HIGH VIBES in order to avoid any birthday blues. So why do we always shelve ourselves when we spend so much energy celebrating everyone else in our lives.
