Welcome to a lovely little book round up episode where I tell you all about 6 of my favorite ghost stories. 

New year, new bullshit, same deep dives into horribly written books filled with problematic, harmful things! 

This will be a deep dive, spoiler review of the fantasy, dystopian, dark romance novel: The Pawn and the Puppet by Brandi Elise Szeker. I have a deep dislike for this book, I do not recommend it to anyone. It contains harmful misrepresentation of mental illness, violent and graphic transphobia and embarrassingly bad writing - among other things.

We had such a great year with you weirdos, so to celebrate, let's chat about all the books I read, which ones I loved and which ones I just really didn't. 

This episode we will be doing a deep dive on the book The Wild by K. Webster, a taboo romance author of problematic books with questionable integrity. I hated this book, I recommend it to no one. Join me as I go through the story, the issues I had with it, the power of an author's intent and the importance of trigger warnings.
