Episode 014: Philip Lewis of Huffington Post
My guest today is journalist and author Phil Lewis. Growing up in Detroit and working his way through the education and journalism fields, Phil is currently the front-page editor for the Huffington Post. His finger seems to always be on the pulse as he reports in real-time through these crazy moments. His Twitter is one of my favorites to follow as his tweets blend my love for current events and history, with comedy and sarcasm. I am excited to take some time to talk with Phil about what goes into being a journalist in 2020, and with that, I welcome Phil Lewis to Well Being Creative.
Episode 013: Adam Leeb of Astrohaus
Adam Leeb is the co-founder of AstroHaus, and more specifically the product FreeWrite, a tool that helps writers and creators deter distractions. He is an MIT engineering grad that beyond designing products and starting companies also has some interesting hobbies and passions that have led him on adventures around the world that I’m sure we will hear more about. So with that intro, it’s my pleasure to welcome Adam Leeb to Well Being Creative.
Episode 012: Chris Forte of Why Bars
Chris Forte is a high-energy entrepreneur and yogi who has constantly blended spirituality into his work. Through his most recent venture as the co-founder of Why Bars, an amazing superfood snack bar, Chris is bringing health and intention into a corner of an industry that has been relatively dull until Why Bars became available. In this episode, we talk about everything from bouncing back after many ups and downs including leaving a dwindling sports career, founding and selling his first company before 30, and dealing with the tumultuous years of the recession all while balancing and developing a healthy routine.
Episode 011: Oli Beardsall of Onyx Wellness
Oli Beardsall is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Strongfirst BodyWeight Trainer, Personal Trainer, and a 200-hour registered yoga teacher as well as the owner of his own personal training and wellness company, Onyx Wellness. Essentially Oli is a one-stop-shop for all things health, a real-life Chris Traeger for all my Parks & Rec fans out there. Oli has helped me tremendously along my own personal health journey, so I’m elated to be able to sit down with him to discuss some of the things I know listeners will enjoy hearing and also benefit from.
