099: Embracing a "Slow Motherhood"
"It goes so fast!" A descriptive for millennia used for motherhood, and especially emphasized in our modern world. Time goes fast. Kids grow up fast. There are endless options when it comes to how we raise our children and endless voices declaring what we ought to choose. What if we resisted the main stream slip stream of outward significance and embraced purpose-driven, Spirit-led as the new benchmark for success in raising kids?
The goal is never perfection, its purpose-driven and joy-filled amidst the chaos that will inevitably ensue in a mother's journey. This episode overviews a short devotional overviewing the acronym for "SLOW' with four short musings for each letter to spark creativity in your motherhood. We believe as Well Women, our purpose is only highlighted and enlarged as a result of motherhood, not diminished.
Whether you're a first time mom or seasoned grandmother, this episode will empower you to continue nurturing those around you with a soft heart and willing hands.

The pursuit of "less stuff" can serve anyone regardless of personal preference, economic status or personality.
Today I'm asking the question, do we have things or do our things have us? I share my minimalism journey, tips and 10 things I've gained from living with less. If you're tired of rearranging clutter, need a deep-clean, or want to live with clarity this episode will help.

085: Living Stress Free Through Mindset + Movement for Optimal Fertility with Dr. Berg
Stress impacts hormones. The body will convert progesterone (the hormone needed to sustain a pregnancy and prevent miscarriage) and other sex hormones into cortisol during stress. This protective measure is not ideal to make a baby and mimics a famine. The result is the body switches to a stress mode, and impacts hormonal balance and the ability to conceive. The first step to healing fertility and improving health is getting out of a stress mode and back to your vital health through mindset and movement.
Dr. Liz Berg, founder of Nourish Family Chiropractic shares her own journey with fertility and practical lifestyle shifts for optimal fertility and overall health.
Some of the topics we cover in this episode:
- Quick primer of sex hormones
- Fertility markers you need to know that are critical for women regardless of desiring to conceive

084: Word First: Not an Orphan, Restoring Identity, Confidence + Vision
Believe it or not, many of us are living as orphans. Not in the literal sense but a spiritual one.
The Father wants to speak to us about certain mindsets and habits that keep us trapped and the offender could be an orphan spirit, not a lack of willpower. Even for those of us who love God, follow him and are used by him.
Has an orphan spirit revealed itself in your marriage in manipulation, getting easily frustrated or constant missed expectations?
Has an orphan spirit showed up in your parenting? Parenting children based on immediate comfort and preference rather than for their good? Quick to get frustrated by our children's mistakes, more concerned with their conformity to our ideas rather than cultivating an environment where they can fail forward, explore, and create without fear?
Has an orphan spirit showed up in how you related to God? Are you carrying shame that is creating distance in your relationship with God?
Has an orphan spirit showed up how you treated yourself? Are you overly concerned with your appearance to others because the risk of rejection?
In this episode I share a very personal encounter I had with the Father where He helped me identify the reality that I was a high-functioning orphan. How to identify an orphan spirit in operation in your life and most important of all, how to get rid of an orphan spirit, embrace identity and step into a renewed sense of confidence and vision.
083: Word First: River of Life
Did you know that there is a literal river flowing in Heaven right now? Not only is this River flowing, but that River flows up through us when we surrender our lives to Jesus!
Before you freak out and check your pants for a flowing stream, I'd like to invite you to embrace the power and life that’s flowing to you right now. You can access this River at any time. It never stops flowing. Once you jump in you'll awaken to the truth that your life is meant to be a fountain of living water for others.
Understanding this Kingdom Key will transform you from the inside out. It will impact your health, your attitude, your relationships, your confidence and unlock provision. On this episode I will share how its touched every part of my being bringing divine healing and restoration.
Let’s jump in the river!
082: Word First: The Pursuit of Kingdom Femininity
What does true femininity look like in the Kingdom of Heaven?
I see the hand of God on women in such profound ways in this hour and I’m excited about the army of warrior women the Father is raising up. Like every move of the Spirit, the enemy is always prepared with a counterfeit.
The enemy has worked to suppress women throughout history reducing their value to providing meals and procreation. Their voices were not heard and their rights were taken away.
As important as it is to identify "What is Kingdom Femininity?", so is naming what it is NOT. Join us for this episode of the Well Women Co Podcast as we dig into God's "original" and very good design for women!
081: Remaining Untouchable from Offense, Anxiety + Chaos
Imagine being on a high balcony and looking down below. Beneath, you see your enemies snarling at the gate. Anxiety, fear, chaos, offense all clawing at the walls, trying to break through. The presence of your enemies is real, but the strength of your fortress of impenetrable walls keep you safe and secure.
The enemy may be present in your days, but does not need prevail. You may hear his intimidating whispers but it doesn’t hold any authority over you. No, you've learned how to stay covered in an invisible blanket of God's glory keeping you steadfast and immoveable. No matter how hard he tries he can’t reach you.
So how do we become "untouchable"? When we’re hidden in Christ. When we know who we are and who He says we are. When we come to a place of resolute faith that knows God's Word has the final say. Period. It's time to take a stand against anxiety, fear and chaos that desperately wants to surround us. I'm sharing 5 practical ways to remain "untouchable" from them, along with sharing openly about times when I've felt overwhelmed.
080: Word First: Minta Geilser's Testimony, How the Bible Transformed Her Life
Minta was not unfamiliar with the Christian Faith, or reading the Bible. However, a couple kids and some heartbreaks later, she found herself wooed by what the world had to offer, and left with faith a mile wide and an inch deep. Minta's story is a powerful testament to the redemptive nature of Father God. She has and continues to overcome immense challenges while digging even deeper into the living Word of God in such a way that's bringing transformation to herself and many others through her podcast, teen ministry and heart for local outreach.
If you're faced with faith a mile wide and inch deep, or have never fully surrendered your life to the Way of Jesus, this story will bring encouragement and practical tools to dive into an authentic, beautiful relationship with God like never before.
We address questions like:
- Why do we get stuck in our faith?
- What role does the Holy Spirit play in reading the Bible?
- What does the "crucified life" look like?
- How can we actually apply the Word of God to our lives?
- Where do we begin or start to dig deeper into the Bible?

079: Word First: Become the Message + Possess Your Promises with Rheanna Arftsen
We’re always waiting for something aren't we? Whether it's waiting for packages in the mail or our Mr. Charming to arrive on the scene.
It's easy to slip into being more concerned about getting the answers to our prayers than having a desire to carry the testimony of the journey the Lord revealed in the midst of it.
If we take a step back, unanswered prayer is an opportunity to take hold of a message we then use to encourage others as they face their own mountains in life.
Rheanna Arftsen shares about “becoming the message” and how to possess your promises along with personal examples how her and her family are currently waiting for promises to be fulfilled.
What if we learned to leverage "the wait" and shift our focus toward the One who fulfills the promise instead of the promises alone…
If there’s an area in your life you’re waiting for a breakthrough, tune into this conversation today. You’ll be encouraged to keep the faith and shift your focus with great expectation to experience so much more than answered prayer alone.
078: Compassion: The Missing Ingredient for Healing + How to Grow in Compassion for Ourselves + Others
Have you ever felt a lack of compassion for yourself or been unable to extend genuine compassion to another person? Compassion is the gateway to healing. Extending compassion for myself is something I’ve struggled with greatly, and I know I'm not alone.
As the Father begins to demonstrate and teach us of his compassion for ourselves personally, we will have new capacity to extend compassion to ourself and therefore others. If we don't learn to first receive compassion for ourselves, our compassion tank will run empty leaving us to live a life of emotional poverty.
Compassion is the missing ingredient many people miss for healing. Receiving it and authentically extending this gift to others leads to physical healing, dynamic ministry, and empowered relationships. I share how I have struggled with understanding true compassion in my life, why compassion is difficult to give freely, and how to open ourselves up to new levels of the Father's compassion that leads to healing in and through our lives.
077: Word First: 4 Keys to Kingdom Unity
The ideal of "unity" seems to be at an all time high, although the presence of true unity seems to be farther away than ever. As Believers, this is one of our utmost mandates to model to the world around us. Unfortunately the church, and many Believers have not done the greatest job manifesting this trait. Perhaps, because of the church’s disunity, culture has followed suit.
So why is unity so under attack? What does true unity even look like in our family, neighborhood, school, workplace, and government? We're all in relationship with people in these areas we don’t agree with. How do we pursue true unity with one another? Is it even possible to live in peace and remain without offense in a cancel-culture?
This episode explores reasons why there is such a strong attack on unity, what true Kingdom unity actually looks like, and four ways to pursue and encourage Kingdom unity in your life.
Leave the drama behind. Learn to live unoffended. Learn to embrace true Kingdom unity.
076: Word First: Overcoming Fatigue
Have you ever felt spent after a long day? What about when long days turn into lingering fatigue where you can't seem to catch up? Are you in a weary season? Is your body is tired? Is your mind is foggy? Is your emotional tank running on empty?
Physical stress or chronic fatigue sets the tone for a host of health challenges physically and mentally.
Jesus must have also experienced fatigue during his ministry of speaking with crowds of people day and night, mentoring a group of diverse disciples and constantly coming up against his haters. In his humanity, Jesus was not immune to weariness.
Perhaps you're caring for young kids, or putting in long hours at work, or working on getting a new venture off the ground.
This episode is a supernatural shot of Kingdom energy we have access to through Jesus and 4 practical ways to overcome fatigue. You’ll learn the source of Kingdom energy available to you so you can refuel any time.
075: Word First: 7 Characteristics of a Kingdom Influencer
What does it mean to be an influencer in the Kingdom of God? We may be more familiar with the term "influencer" in light of social media or celebrity culture. In our world, influencer is typically comprised of outward appearances, fame, material wealth, or extreme talent.
Even more important than a number of followers on social media is an understanding that each one of us has massive potential for influence on the earth through the Kingdom of God. Each one of us has a sphere of influence that we’ve been destined to impact through the goodness of God demonstrated through our lives. This episode will encourage you to step into your role as a true “influencer” in the earth. Whether that means managing a household, starting a non-profit, working in a career, or otherwise.
Learn the 7 characteristics of an influencer, discover your unique area of influence, and how to graciously inspire change through the Kingdom of God without having to take a single selfie!
074: I'm Pregnant! + Other Life Updates
Surprise! I'm pregnant!
The cat's out of the bag. We're interrupting our Word First Series with this special bonus episode. In it I will highlight our journey the past 4 years of battling infertility, our spiritual journey in the midst of it, how I worked toward holistic healing, how this pregnancy has been thus far, and some fun practicals about how I’m choosing to intentionally nurturing my body and growing baby!
At the end I'll share a few Well Women Co updates, important podcast information, and what you can expect from this community moving forward. This episode could be hard for some to hear. I know there are many women standing in the gap of their promise of a child or another child, or perhaps mourning a miscarriage. Feel free to skip this episode and tune into a previous episode if you’re not ready.
If you find yourself in the wait for a promise to be fulfilled, I'd like to encourage you to tune in. Although I’m sharing of my personal testimony of conception, you will hear helpful encouragement both spiritually and practically to help you find purpose and nurture your faith and body in the wait.
073: Word First: Abide vs Strive
Have you ever found yourself excelling in many areas of life but still sensing something was off? Not long ago, I was at the peak of career “success” up to that point, measured by impact, influence, and numbers. The work of my hands and passion of my heart bore fruit. I was walking in my calling. I was serving others. I was earning money for my family doing something I was passionate about.
Slowly I began prioritizing my calling before the health of my family. I began to ignore my own soul’s health in effort to keep pressing forward.
I look back on this time not with shame or regret but extreme gratitude for this experience.
I'll be sharing my personal journey and vulnerable examples in my own story and how I've leaned into abiding in Jesus rather than my own striving. It takes guts to die to your dreams in the midst of them. Abiding leads to more fruitfulness than we could ever imagine while simultaneously experiencing supernatural peace and joy.
In this episode you will be inspired to offer up the branches of your life to the master gardener to work beauty through your life. Find courage to live counter-culturally, die to your dreams and awaken to his.
- Learn how to abide rather than strive.
- Learn what it means to abide without slipping into apathy
- Learn how to embrace pruning no matter what season you're in
072: Word First: Religion is Dead
Take any religion anywhere in the world. Including Christianity, devoid of the power of the cross and you’ll get the same, a form without substance. You will find a mediator serving as a bridge between the people and the divine. Religion is the antithesis of “freedom” because we rely on someone else for my information, right standing, and eternal security.
Jesus came to destroy the works of darkness, including dead religion that keeps us enslaved to a system we can never overcome. Jesus broke down the barrier once and for all and made a way for us to access everything He is and everything He has which results in glorious freedom.
Jesus came to prove religion is dead and invited us into something so much more. He came to restore our relationship between us and the Father.
No matter what your spiritual background. I invite you to lean back and listen to this beautiful invitation to pursue relationships instead of a religion. In this episode you'll learn:
- 5 Signs you might be stuck in a religion
- 5 Signs you're living in freedom
071: Word First: Fear this not That!
Fear is the ultimate thief. It robs us of destiny, opportunity, intimacy, peace, joy, provision and ultimately the love our souls crave.
Today we’re going to address fear from a different point of view. There is a kind of fear, that unlike its counterpart, is a key to a life of joy, victory, abundance, and destiny. It's time to turn fear of disaster or harm into the fear of the Lord. Wait, what's that you ask?! In this brief episode we'll discuss the meaning of the fear of God, the benefits of fearing God, and how to grow in the right kind of fear while leaving fear of disaster behind.
Join us as we flip the script on fear once and for all!
070: Word First: Set Apart
You've heard the phrase, “have your cake and eat it too.” There’s an idea in today's culture that we can have it all. If it feels right for us, it is. Moderation and temperance are displaced by burnt-out pleasure centers in the brain.Since we have access to so much, it's easy to satisfy cravings on demand.
God's word and his boundaries set us apart. We have access to a different level of living that is not dictated by every fleeting desire, but one that finds deep rest and satisfaction. Although we live in the world, as children of God we are called to look differently from the ways of this world. Let’s face it, it’s challenging to live out this reality and not fall into temptation and compromise by mixing with the world’s system.
In this conversation we’re going to:
- Define living set apart
- Discover the loving boundaries God’s given us
- Catch vision for what living set apart looks like
069: Word First: Purpose in the Wait
What answer to prayer are you waiting for? Have you ever felt stuck in the middle waiting for a promise to be fulfilled? What do we do in the wait? How do we hold the posture of our heart? How do we remain in faith and not get sucked into despair and hopelessness?
Waiting is part of life. We’re always in process of some sort of waiting whether big or small. Only when we get to heaven will all our longings be met and all the pieces of this life will make sense
Today’s conversation we’re going to talk about how to manage our hearts in the middle, how to remain in faith, and what to put our hand to in the wait. If your heart needs encouragement, tune in today!

No matter where you are In your journey to the Father's heart, Becky shares profound truths wrapped in relatable stories that will open up your heart to not only believe, but receive the love of God for yourself in greater measures. We discuss healing from father wounds, the gift of the Father's discipline and living in the favor as a child of God.

066: Freedom from Poverty
Poverty comes in many different forms but is first and foremost a state of mind. Our primary objective in this episode is not to unveil a get-rich quick scheme. Our goal is to spur on your faith so you may grasp the reality of your inheritance through Jesus and begin to walk in your royal identity as you take steps toward a mindset that fosters abundance thinking.
We will discover what the Bible has to say on poverty, wealth, and what a Kingdom perspective of prosperity looks like. What is God’s desire for us? What are the keys God's already given us to walk in the provision he purchased for us through his son? How can we, as daughters of God begin to shift our thinking to align with Heaven in this area?
Wherever you are on the spectrum of poverty or abundance this episode will empower you to experience freedom to walk fully into the destiny that God has planned for you, while receiving the provision that he has already provided for you.

062: Freedom from Fear
Fear is fixing our imagination on evil, pain or worst case scenarios. Faith is fixing our imagination on what God has already said about the matter.
Absence of fear is not the goal. Being fully convinced of God’s goodness and won over by His love in the midst of fear is the aim. Fear and faith cannot mix. We can either choose fear or faith. How has fear showed up in your life? Fear amidst an event? Fear of the future? Fear of a virus? Fear of the unknown, success, failure, losing someone you love? Fear of what others might think of you? Fear of losing a reputation?
God wants to overshadow you with His love in such a profound way that fear is totally driven out from your life and loses its influence over you as a result.
Listen in for 10 Ways to know for certain fear has lost its influence in your life and three practical steps to become free from fear.

059: Freedom from Comparison
Ever found yourself discouraged as a result of comparison with someone else? Comparison is almost an automatic. No one is immune.
The moment we get our eyes off the path God has marked out for us is the moment we're vulnerable to comparison. Discouragement comes like a thief because of our lack of progress or success. We feel the chasm of where we want to be and where someone else is on their journey. Eyes off the truth of the Word of God is when the comparison trap strikes.
Comparison in of itself is not a negative. In its purest form it’s a tool to relate with others. Unfortunately, in our microwave world of before and afters and highlight reels our souls don’t have the bandwidth to take this approach.
In this episode we acknowledge comparison as a primary tactic of the enemy, that we’ve all been there, and focus in on how to live FREE from it!
