Heather is a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and lover of life! She is a trauma-informed Life Recovery and Relationship Coach and co-founder of “The Powers of Love” with her husband Jason. Together, they love serving as community leaders.

She is a workshop creator and group facilitator supporting spiritual, mental, and emotional healing and specializes in holistic addiction recovery. Heather is also an award-winning singer/songwriter and her music has often been called “medicine for the Soul”, which she incorporates throughout much of her work.

Sande is a mother, grandmother, wife, aunt, and sister from the steep seaside cliffs in Southern California. She is an award-winning leader in the fields of women’s empowerment and interfaith community building. She founded the women’s interfaith grassroots international organization S.A.R.A.H. (The Spiritual And Religious Alliance for Hope) the morning of 911, an instinct to gather women of diverse faiths to protect all that they consider sacred, now in its 22nd year. Sande is actively engaged in leadership in the peace, interfaith, compassion, community building, and women’s empowerment sectors.

Sande served on the Women's Task Force for The Parliament of The World's Religions, developing and producing the first-ever Women's Village at the 2023 conference. She founded and served as Director for the international organization The Charter For Compassion’s Women and Girls sector, creating the 9th sector of the international organization focused on compassion. She served as Chair for the United Religions Initiative for North America and is also the Founder of Compassionate California, which recently became established into law by the governor’s office as the first Compassionate State in the world. 

Sande has conducted countless workshops and produced major and smaller events in more than seven countries, presented on panels in universities, global and local organizations, and city and state-level institutions. Sande is currently being inducted into the Women’s Oral History Archives for Claremont Colleges in California. Raja Marhaba

Raja Marhaba’s journey in special education may be compared to David and Goliath as she fought the second largest school district in the nation to obtain badly needed services and placements for both her sons.  

The district took a middle-class mom to 9th Circuit Federal Court in an effort to intimidate and drain all financial resources so that she would give up. Yet, Raja Marhaba, stood tall exhausting all resources available to her and sacrificing her marriage, lifestyle and business in order to provide both her sons the Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).  

This was their right according to the Individual Disability Education Act (IDEA).  The district hired high priced attorneys in an effort to prevent her sons from receiving services and proper educational placement. These services played a significant role in aiding both sons to access grade level curriculum and obtain success in the school environment. The book “Unstoppable” will not only tell Raja Marhaba’s story, but be a resource something  like a “living document” parents can continuously refer to when advocating for their own special  needs children.

Requiring more mammographic scans, large- and dense-breasted women are left uninformed about the increased risk for radiation-induced cancers.

Megan S. Smith holds an M.S. in biology with a thesis in molecular genetics, and currently works as a documentary filmmaker and freelance investigative journalist in the areas of science and health. In 2016, Smith founded WayMark Productions, LLC, a company dedicated to bettering the lives of those with health afflictions.

Prior to that, she worked consecutive decades as a screenwriter, a Capitol Hill lobbyist for renewable energy, and a stage performer/recording artist. Smith was the first to report on the inaccuracy of Lyme disease testing for The Washington Post, and the government’s gross underreporting of this epidemic for her local paper. 

Smith wrote, produced, and directed her first short documentary, “bOObs: The War on Women’s Breasts,” which garnered numerous film festival awards. Starting October 2020, Smith’s feature film by the same name will be distributed internationally by Los Angeles-based Cinema Libre Studio. 

“bOObs” look into the controversial breast cancer screening test of mammography, but also considers a future protocol option for women: thermography in conjunction with ultrasound. 

Her second film, “A New Standard of Care,” will investigate the highly contentious area of non-conventional cancer therapies and will be dedicated to her late husband, Proctor.
