Today I want to talk about something that is very interesting that is happening. I’ve written about it and put it in my podcast before that I purchased a website called Naturaljersey.com. I was trying to figure out how it was going to leverage this site to bring in income and help connect, holistic practitioners as well as other natural businesses and connect those with likeminded people. 

In this episode, I talk about how I turned my new Facebook Live into a podcast, blog post and a youtube video within 30 minutes!

Hey, everybody is Wendy Susan Richmond from the Undercover Marketing Secrets. And this is kind of exciting day for me. Because this is basically my first livestream, as a for the Undercover Marketing Secrets and I’m just kind of testing things out. And so if anybody ends up watching this and you see it, feedback would be cool, you know, and I’m trying to get all my lighting set up in my studio and trying to make sure that, that everything is just right...

Over the last four months, I have been taking the easy way out. First, the backstory…

Back in 2018, around April or May, I started doing Facebook Lives in my car on my way to a marketing client’s office. It was ok, yet never felt quite right. I was doing what they (the gurus) said to do. I was posting every day to my audience. (Now, my audience was just my family and friends.)...

Today, I am getting ready to sign up with a person to help me put together my first Virtual Summit. I am excited on one hand, yet quite scared on the other.

To do this with her, I need to pay out $5500. This is the most I have invested in something on my own. Normally, I am investing other people’s money, so now I understand how they feel, when they entrust me with their marketing budgets...

Ok, I have said it before and now it is “Go time!”

I have taken the last year to study digital marketing success strategies and techniques. I bought courses, watched videos, got special tools and researched what other successful digital marketers were doing.

Then I went to a really cool event, Funnel Hacking Live, where I was surrounded by very successful digital marketers...

A few days after I got back from Russell Brunson’s Funnel Hacking Live Event in Nashville, Tennessee, I got sick! I knew it was going to happen because on the airplane ride to Nashville, the man sitting next to me had a bad cough. He didn’t stop coughing the entire trip.

Plus, the event had over 4000 people attending it. Everyone was shaking hands, opening doors and even eating together at times…so it was inevitable. I am not so savvy with the medical side of things to be able to ward off the germs before, during and after. I did wash my hands a lot, but, I guess, not enough.

100 podcasts over the last few months. Whew! I cannot believe I have done this. In November, I went through the Russell Brunson, One Funnel Away Challenge and one of his suggestions was to start publishing…so I did.

It has been an interesting journey...

At the Russell Brunson Funnel Hacking Live event, I have the opportunity to talk with many entrepreneurs who are basically trying to do what I do. Use funnels to sell their products or services. 

On the first day of the event, I was asked by a couple of people what I did. I wasn’t clear because I wasn’t sure what to tell people. Do I tell them about my marketing background and successes or do I tell them about my NaturalJersey.com site and what I want to do with that. 

I am at the Russell Brunson Funnel Hacking Live 2019 event in Nashville, Tennessee. It has been an interesting experience so far. It has been a while since I have had to talk to people! I usually just work in my home office or my client’s office, so I don’t have to get out and actually sell my services.

Well, this is not the case. It is funny how you can be in a room or hotel with thousands of like-minded people and still not be able to talk to anyone. (I actually did find one woman to talk to, because she said something to me while I was live streaming on Facebook!)

One thing that I have always loved to do is dance. I used to go out dancing several nights a week when I was young. Back in college, I probably went out 4 out of 7 nights!

As I got older and more into my career, I lost that dancing feeling. Every once in a while, I would get inspiration to do it.

In a couple of days, I will be going to Russell Brunson’s Funnel Hacking Live 2019 event in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a four day event, which means I will be staying in a hotel for four nights.

Ok, so you think, “Yeah Wendy, so what. A hotel stay is just a hotel stay.” Well, not exactly. This is the first time I have had a reservation for a hotel and the hotel has communicated with me several times BEFORE my stay.

One of my last posts, I described what I was going to do to get ready for my Funnel Hacking Live 2019 Event in a few days. Well, I have been diving in and doing the things that I needed to make sure I am prepared for this event.

This will be my first time going to FHL 2019, so I am really not quite sure what to expect. There are going to be over 4000 entrepreneurs there. This will be the largest event I have ever attended.

I must tell you, I am very excited for this time of my life. I am finding that I want to be more of service to people to help them get what they want in their lives.

The other day I was scrolling through my Facebook feed and this popped up.  I liked the visual and what they were selling, get 3 free cups of that wonderful looking goodness.

I am six days into my 30 day challenge and today I am planning for exactly what my intentions are for the Funnel Hacking Live 2019 event I am going to in Nashville from 2/20/19 through 2/23/19.

This event will be filled with 4500 people just like me. They use Clickfunnels to help grow their businesses or help other people grow their businesses. I have been successful using these types of sales funnels for brick and mortar businesses, for example dentists.

Today I have my parents in town visiting with us, so I want to spend time with them AND do a tiny bit of work on my 30 Day Challenge. Not every day is going to be as productive as other days. Last night I went to bed with the intention of coming up with 10X strategies for my business. It really kept me up throughout the night.

Today is a day I need to make things happen quickly because my parents are coming to town to visit for the weekend. I want to spend quality time with them, so I needed to get a lot done in a fast amount of time.

Here’s how I made it happen today:

1. I got paid! 

Today is a day for me to very intentional about what I want to happen. I did a live video on Instagram to set up my day. Here is what I intended to do today:

1. Go into my very successful client and make sure my NaturalJersey.com Strategic Partner contract was gone through, questions answered, signed with payment received.

Last time I talked about how one of my big fish clients was coming to an end and now is the time for me to step it up and make things happen, so I don’t have to rely on one or two clients.

Today is my day! I am excited! In a past podcast I talked about the One Funnel Away 30 Day Challenge. Well, that time is now. My 30 Days starts today!

This has been an interesting couple of weeks. One of my biggest clients is now slowly taking me out of the picture. I could list a whole bunch of reasons why, but, I won’t here.

I just know that the time comes in almost all client relationships to move on. I have been wanting to make the break and working feverishly to bring other clients in to give me the same income I was getting from the big fish. By big fish, I really mean, whale!

This is a milestone for me. Never in a million years would I have thought that I would have people listen to my podcast this much. First off, I’d like to thank the listeners of my podcast. I’d like to thank you for reading my blog as well. I do hope you/they have gotten value from what I have put out into the world. 

Over the last year and a half I have been working with a client. Before I started working with him, he was getting on average of five new patients a month. Then I started doing all of his marketing.

Within three months he was getting 30 new patients a month. He is a fee-for-service dentist, so his new patients are worth a lot more to his practice than a regular insurance office.

Today I trained a friend of mine how to use the 3D Camera I invested $5000 in two years ago. Yes, I did say, two years ago.

I love gadgets, technology and photography. Two years ago I heard about Matterport cameras. They have the capability of creating 3D tours of houses, store fronts, offices, construction sites, hotels, etc. Since I like photography, I thought that I would combine it with the other business I like, marketing.

Today was a little bit of a scary day. I was in the office with one of my clients. Things are going really well for them. Because of this, I thought it would be a good time to talk with them about something I was doing outside of my marketing their practice.

Yesterday, I was searching for an alternative to the social media posting tool that I have been using. My current one (I don’t want to name, because it has been an ok tool, but I need more now) has done a decent enough job for me when it comes to my social media posting. 

I even have several of my clients using it. However, now I am wanting a more robust system. I have three Facebook pages, two twitters, two Instagram pages, Linkedin and Youtube channels that I want to post on. 

In the last year, I have been working with several clients from different industries. It has been quite interesting. In that year, I have said, “Yes” to whoever wanted to work with me, not considering what would happen when I did that.

You never really know what working with someone will produce or even if it would be a great fit...

Today I finished up reading a very interesting book called, Play Bigger. How Rebels and Innovators Create New Categories and Dominate Markets. It’s written by Al Ramadan, Dave Peterson, Christopher Lochhead and Kevin Maney. 

I feel kind of like Ralph Kramden in the Honeymooners. He was always coming home with a new money making scheme. That is me! Over the last several years, I have tried and tried and tried to find that right thing. That thing that was going to give me and my family financial freedom. 

Here are a few of the things I have hoped would be THE thing:

In 2015 I was working with small business entrepreneurs and coaching them on how to do marketing. I had been studying with Marketing Expert, Dan Kennedy. I was taking what I was learning and teaching it to these small business owners. 

I really wasn’t having much success with them. Even though I knew I had knowledge about marketing, I really hadn’t done a lot of it for myself, so trying to communicate that with a small business owner, it was a big challenge. 

One opportunity I acquired over the last few weeks was a website naturaljersey.com. When I heard that it was becoming available, I immediately researched what it had going for it and what gaps where it hadn’t been optimized.

This site has over 6000 unique visitors that are interested in natural/organic/holistic things.

I like this secret because I still struggle with this. Here is what Russell Brunson, Owner of Clickfunnels says, “People are afraid to move forward because the future is unknown. Create a manifesto that outlines your cause and shows your vision of the future so they are compelled to act..."

Earlier this year I had the extreme pleasure of talking with Dan and Anthony from Big Surf Media about SEO and Content Marketing. It was in the context of dental practices, but anyone can take what we talked about and apply it to your marketing. 

I needed to buy some business cards for my newly acquired website NaturalJersey.com. I have used Vistaprint.com before, so I Googled them to see if they had any special for business cards.
