Becoming the Best Version of Yourself - Episode 38
In Episode 38 of the Lifestyle by Design Podcast, "Becoming the Best Version of Yourself," host Wesley Clark shares a transformative journey of self-improvement and realization. After a hiatus since September 2021, Wesley returns, more energized than ever, to reveal life-altering strategies that could change the listener's life. He takes us through his personal evolution, involving meticulous dietary refinement, a commitment to physical fitness, and the purposeful tracking of macros.
This episode dives deep into the concept of the "Best Version of Yourself" (BVOY), where Wesley unpacks the Greek idea of the "Archetype" – envisioning a perfect model of oneself to strive towards, not just physically but also mentally, spiritually, and financially. Listeners are invited to contemplate their current selves as the best version in that moment, recognizing that there is always room for growth.
Wesley challenges the norms of societal comparison and external validation, encouraging listeners to focus inward and use their personal "archetype" as the benchmark for growth. By fostering commitment, concentration, discipline, and action, Wesley discusses how to bring one's BVOY into reality—an ongoing, ever-evolving process.
In a bold move, Wesley redefines what being "woke" truly means, emphasizing self-awareness, personal accountability, and letting go of judgment towards others. This empowering narrative invites the audience to wake up to their own potential, disregard societal expectations, and steadfastly pursue their BVOY every single day.
