In 2019, hard seltzer was a $3.2B industry.  The father-son Duo, Austin and Austin Pittman, saw a gap in that market for a seltzer with high quality ingredients that tasted refreshing.  Enter Blue Norther...launched in the summer of 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Blue Norther is looking to make some noise in the hard seltzer market, and this delicious beverage will likely see success for years to come!

While the COVID-19 Pandemic has kept schools from reopening their doors, teachers have been working all summer long to ensure their students are getting the quality instruction they deserve.  While virtual learning is tough enough as it is, imagine teaching physical education to a class of students through your computer screen...Enter Tracey Naumann, PE teacher at Woolridge Elementary in North Austin.  Tracey is working tirelessly to build a virtual curriculum so all of her students receive top-notch physical education instruction while learning from home.  Tune in to hear what's happening behind the scenes for teachers all over the country and right here in the ATX.

Greg and Ian visited Try Hard Coffee Roasters earlier in the day to see what all the hype was about for this new coffee and pastry shop in E. Austin.  Located on E. 11th Street THCR offers a variety of coffee drinks, including 2 varieties of Cold Brew (Ian's favorite) and signature drinks in collaboration with Big Swig, another local company to ATX.  Don't forget to test out their homemade pastries and tacos!

Jeremy Davis, owner of TruFusion South Austin, joined us in March 2019 before the studio opened.  He shared his story and talked about goals for the new gym concept hitting the scene in Austin.  Well, Jeremy joins us again to share how they crushed membership numbers in the first 9 months in business before they were forced to shut down by the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Jeremy talks about successes from the first 9 months and how they've had to pivot during these tough times to stay afloat.  TruFusion has lots of safety measures in place to ensure their members feel comfortable hitting the gym again, so check out their Instagram from updates as they plan to reopen on August 1, 2020.

Brandon Chambers aka "Chambers" has always loved basketball.  During his days as a student at VCU, he wanted to find a way to get more involved with the Men's Basketball program, so he became a student manager.  Little did he know, VCU was about to go on a historic run to the Final Four, and Chambers was along for the ride.  He's continued his journey with various coaching positions, but is now the assistant coach at Texas Southern University.  Hear Chambers' story and what drives him to excel as a coach, but more importantly create a bond with his players that will impact their  lives beyond basketball!

Chambers also shares some of his top book recommendations and shares a strategy that allows him to get the most out of every book he reads.

Momora Austin Food is a company inspired by the famous Austin quote "Keep Austin Weird".  Alan Mora and his business partner Marco are 2 friends with the courage to create something NEW for the wonderful city of ATX.

Who knew water could be so complex?? Today we were joined by Taylor O'Neil, CEO of Richard's Rainwater, a company that has taken over the distilled and sparkling water game here in the ATX.  Taylor shares the story of how Richard's Rainwater began as a "hobby business" and is now the water of choice for many local bars, restaurants, gyms, you name it!
