Death is a part of life yet we so often don’t know how to navigate it when it comes.

In this episode with Sarah Kerr, PhD Death Doula and Ritual Healing Practitioner
We cover:

  • How to honour the death process
  • How to become more comfortable with the process of dying
  • Things to do to prepare for end-of-life
  • The truth about what happens to us after we die

Documentary mentioned (surviving death) https://www.netflix.com/ca/title/80998853?source=35

About the guest speaker:

Sarah Kerr, PhD, has been a death doula, ritual healing practitioner and trainer since 2012.  Her work helps dying people and their families connect with each other, and with the innate wisdom of the dying process.

Sarah’s approach draws on nature-based spirituality, sacred sciences, and the richness of the human soul. She designs and facilitates ceremonies that help her clients to integrate experiences of death, loss, and transformation. These rituals honour the spiritual significance of what’s happening, and bring healing to the living, the dying, and the dead.

As a founder of The Centre for Sacred Deathcare, Sarah is a teacher and mentor to death doulas and others who are called to offer spiritual support at end-of-life.  Sarah’s teachings validate her students’ intuitive knowing about death and dead people, and guide them to meet mortality in ways that are more healing, more whole, and more holy.

002 | Healing holistically from Invasive ductal carcinoma with former nurse, Jackie

002 | Healing holistically from Invasive ductal carcinoma with former nurse, Jackie

In this episode of "What's With Cancer", Jackie, a healthy, active, retired nurse, discovered a lump in her right breast May of 2018. After 5 months of being misdiagnosed and begging someone to do a biopsy, she found out she had invasive ductal carcinoma.

The moment she found out, she knew she’d take the holistic approach that is taught in Chris Wark program, “SQUARE ONE”
https://sq1.chrisbeatcancer.com/module1b

Although her cancer recurred and had spread after the first year, she had no support and her family had pleaded to take conventional treatment, she stood her ground with saying no and sticking with natural remedies.

Jackie is now cancer free and healthier than ever!

We talk about support, diet, what to do, what not to do, how to forgive and how to trust the process.
