Today we are talking to Dr. Lucinda Kolo who works at the Veterans facility at White City Oregon. Dr. Kolo is a new member of the Rotary eClub of the State of Jefferson and has a special love for Africa. She has been working there for many years offering free clinics to remote villages. Here are some of her adventures.

Today were visiting with John Alman. John is a member of the eClub and lives in New Mexico. For the past several years he has worked on The Navajo Solar Light project bringing solar lights to the Navajo Nation. This is more than just lights, the impact goes way beyond that. Today were talking with Thomas DeVere Wolsey. If the name sounds familiar its probably because in the 1500s his ancestor was the famous Archbishop of England under Henry the XIII. Tom is making his own impact on the world through his work at the American University in Cairo and on literacy programs around the world including a project recently funded with a grant from the State of Jefferson.  We spoke with him on a warm evening in Cairo.

Today we are visiting with Emily Francona. Emily is one of the original founders of the State of Jefferson eClub and the lead with Lets Leave No Girl Behind, our clubs signature project. This is a special two part show. It begins with our discussion a few months ago, shortly after her return from visiting the Maya Jaguar school in Guatemala. Then Emily gives us an update and how the COVID pandemic is impacting the kids in the village.
