The single mother experience for only a few days?

The single mother experience for only a few days?

There is something fishy about saying you have had the single parent experience after temporarily being without your partner. Why do so many people make reference to being a single mom on social media after their husband has been away for a business trip. It rubs me the wrong way when I see or hear something like that because it feels like it is diminishing power from an actual single parent to define their experience themselves. Am I too far off beat with this one? I would love to hear your comments about this so I can continue this into part 2 of the discussion.
